Although the payment term mentioned "pay at the hotel". They took some money in my bank account a week before I arrived. After, they asked me to pay twice and it took them 4 months to pay me back. I sent them several emails, but never answered to me. I had to agressively track them to finally got my money back. The hotel is old with major elevator issues, the room was dirty, the staff was totally unprofessional especially Gabriel and racist (Frank Veiga). As a part of my trip, few friends visited me. my friends from Peru, Brazil all caucasians,.. the reception did not ask anything. But, when my friend Victor (Brazilian, dark skin), the reception asked for ID for security reason and we totally complied, but after Frank asked us for extra-money. Reason: "this is the rules". Obviously, the rule are based on your skins color and your look. I can understand incompetence, but definitely not discrimination

Early check in wasn’t possible even for 45mins before the check in time. You need to pay for everything in your room inuding water bottles.

The hotel is at a great location I have stayed at this hotel a few times. This was my worst experience. When I asked about an early check in, I was informed nothing could be done. Later on, at the time of the normal check in, I was told I would have to pay a fee to check in early, which I would gladly do had I been informed of it earlier. The room was musty, and the furniture was old. The pillows and bed were not comfortable. And there was a piece of broken glass in the bathroom.

Modern design and space in family room Some rooms have older bathrooms
-
Room was not upto the mark. Room key was not working every time go down stairs to fix it. Bathroom lock was broken (which we fixed) but they should complete all task before check in. Work like 4 star

I like the bed and the mattress very comfortable. That’s the only thing I liked about the entire room. Breakfast was mediocre at best and the exact same thing day in and day out very boring and not of the highest quality. But I didn’t like about the property is basically it’s not clean the rug and carpeting in the hallways are beyond filthy. They smell of mold. I had asked for an early check-in and was given room 1616 that room should not be given to anybody. It was beyond redemption truly frightening dark slanted mattress really bad then they upgraded me for a price for a lofty price to a room with a balcony which was mediocre at best will not stay here again, and I do not recommend it

Staff was friendly, room was spacious, location is good. Evidence of mold, rooms weren't clean even though they smelled like bleach, bar was always closed, shower water wouldn't stay warm, breakfast lacked variety, uncomfortable beds, no late checkout.

Historical place in the city center. We loved city view and bathroom with wonderful cosmetics. Breakfast was quite good also as the staff. Pillow can be more comfortable

I loved the good energy staff transmitted and the whole comfortable experience I had. Honestly, there’s nothing I did not like.

The corridors smelled like humid.

The bed and the shower was great. Very comfortable room. Spacious e quiet ambient. The breakfast was great with many options The clean wasn't good in common areas of old floors and dirty carpets. We had a problem with the moneybox too.
