Room was comfortable except for a rock for a pillow. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was TOO SIMPLE with virtually no variety or creativity. Wouldn't need to spend much more for a decent breakfast! The reason I gave a poor score in general was because of the people, especially Joyce who treated me like her enemy since day one! When you have a manager like this, it infiltrates the entire culture of the organization. Not one receptionist talked to me, asked me how I was or if I needed anything...AFTER 6 WEEKS! I was a number...good morning good afternoon or good night, if that. I was a school principal for 20 years, and not looking for friendships, only RESPECT! I counted the days to leave, very sadly, and certainly would never stay there again. Remember, you are the receptionists...all of you. It is not the renter.

Dirty, old and rotten.

The facilities weren't that good.

The young guy at the reception was hospitable and friendly. The same applied for the man who worked on the first night of my stay. The rooms were nice, very authentic, high ceilings, lovely balcony. The lady’s at the reception seemed really not to care about the guests. Busy with their own things, very unwelcoming, didn’t know how to behave. The rooms didn’t have a ventilator. It would be so much more comfortable if there was one. It’s a very unwelcoming place.

Very good

The location was perfect. The biggest problem with this place is that they don't have a secure WIFI. Breakfast is very basic. Not even juice, just some bleak cordial drink. No cleaning of the room at all. The room itself was spacious in an old sort of run down building. Bathroom spacious, but the same thing there. Could do with a facelift. A soaptray will inprove it. All together, will not go back.8

Disappointing
-
Very unfriendly staff at check in ... the younger woman nearly made me leave again. arrogant younger woman at reception desk
-
The table and chair No kettle for warm water, so I couldn't drink tea, no Internet in the room at 11th floor

The breakfast was amazing and sufficient. The room was large enough and the staff very nice. Hotel is located in the center close to the monuments. I think I would come back to this hotel again. The bad thing is that it is located at the street full of homeless and drug addicted people. Usually they were very loud even during the whole night. There are also pubs that turn on the music terribly loud which was not pleasant.

the hotel is too close to ‘Cracolândia’ in São Paulo, which makes it very dangerous.
