Nice hotel and staff and good breakfast, no complaints of the hotel. Central location just a loud area with a lot of homeless

I really like the food! The breakfast was amazing! All the staff were very polite. On the other hand, I could sleep well because there were a lot of homeless screaming and making too much noise. But I recognize that is not the hotel problem. Thank you very much! As I mentioned above. I dislike the outside environment (too much noise). I felt quite unsafe walk around but I felt comfortable because I saw a bunch of cops. 《 The police was attentive all the time).

Very good value for money. The rooms Are spacey, the staff is nice. The hotel had a security guard outside at all times, which we soon found out made great sense. Apparently this part of town is “very very very dangerous” as an Uber driver told us. There are LOADS of homeless people who pretty much all smoke crack. The police don’t care about the crack, but they are very present in the area. All throughout the night. It was actually quite entertaining watching everything going on at night, but extremely uncomfortable walking in the area - just take Ubers directly from and to the hotel.

The hotel was ok but the area was so noisy to sleep.

Be careful to choose this hotel if you don’t know the environment beside the hotel Its position is very bad , it is close to the most dangerous area or street in São Paulo , homeless like Zombies everywhere….

The hotel is very clean, close to a very beautiful Metro station and a good looking park. It is a classic looking hotel, located in the historical Center of Sao Paulo. The staff was very friendly, and had all the accomodations we needed. For the price is a very good deal, it's not luxurious but it's very comfortable, great for the price. Breakfast is free and buffet-style, and the food is good and abundant. The hotel also has lunch and dinner options, but it's not free. Also not expensive. The staff it's very friendly. They let us store our baggage after checkout, while we waited for our flight. Definitely in our list when we came back. The location is central, but have seen better days. Around the hotel, just round the corner there is a lot of homeless people, giving a sense of insecurity. Police presence is good, but we avoided to go out at night. However, Taxi or Uber from the Luz Metro Station is very cheap, around 4-5 $US, so if you arrive at night, you won't have any problems with it.

I did like this hotel and Brazil, but guys please sorry me for being a little peaky. The room is too small, definitely, it can not be improved, so, consider of taking a bigger room. The cleaning is perfect, especially in the bathroom. Hot water was available all the time. The air-conditioning is a little old, but works well, needs to be cleaned properly. Breakfast were perfect for me, but they are the same all the days. The location is perfect to get to the airport and visit museums you want. Probably, the best offering in Sao Paolo for a very good price. All the hotel team are friendly and trying to help you (you can ask them about any question, they will assist you in solving any problem, but they do not speak English, of course, so, consider of having any translation app installed in your smartphone). Crowds of homeless and drug abusers outside the hotel door, take care of your belongings (smartphones, wallets, etc.). The guys near hotel (they do not work in the hotel, but help sometimes) will take care when you arrive by blocking homeless guys from you. A big respect for them, they helped me not to get in a trouble.

Hotel was ok and the proximity to the metro station was a plus but the location did not invite evening walks. In the evenings a significant homeless population at the small park across the hotel. My cousin took a ride to the airport with “Barba” a taxi driver recommended by the hotel staff. We were told the ride would be R 73.00 to R 80.00, when my cousin arrived to the airport Barba demanded R 168.00!!!!! That was highway robbery. Is this Barba person in cahoots with the staff to high jack passengers?
