Location , in good and bad way , bad is that a lot of homeless and addicts roaming but police are there, a lot of urine smell near the facility. Good it is very near the metro

Very cheap for a private room, very central, very nice staff who let me check in early. Less than one block from Luz train station. It's a very very basic room (but fits the price). The neighborhood is very dangerous, however there's a very strong police presence so it feels more or less safe.

Wonderful place to stay! Owner is super friendly and speaks great English. Room is simple but sufficient; I loved that the room had a table and its own bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped (even with an electric oven!), and lots of space to have a peaceful meal. I loved it here so much that I extended for another week. It's also well-located, near to some great museums and beautiful architecture, and walking distance to centro. Fantastic connectivity by metro or bus as well. The view from the shared balcony is awesome as well, a great place to sip a coffee and watch city life. It's also very quiet. Fast wifi. The surrounding area is the #1 place for homeless in Sao Paulo. Because of this though, there's tons of police. From the balcony you can always see 5-8 police officers walking around, day or night. So while it may seem dangerous, I actually felt safer than anywhere else in the city.

Nothing- didn't stay Very unsafe area, please read this review and understand the area is a crack den with hundreds of homeless crackheads. Look up cracolandia to understand more about what is outside the doorstep. We cancelled our stay when we arrived and saw the warzone and military police everywhere.

The metro station is close to the hostel. The worst thing about the hostel is the mattress sheet that doesn’t have elastic sewn into sides. That’s why the sheet doesn’t grip onto the mattress and neither stays in place and your body has to touch directly the awful mattress many times during the night, that is really annoying. There is no any comfortable place to chill even for a few minutes in the common areas, as the room is small and there is no window! The neighborhood is FULL of homeless people that makes it so complicated to walk around the hostel. On the weekends it’s even worse. All in all it was a stressful situation.

The people working there are very helpful. The room is basic but very clean. The location is a little dangerous but okay if you are careful

    Every thing Nothing

The view is of the Luz Metro Station, which is really lovely. It is exactly opposite the station, which makes it easy to go to tourist areas in the district! The lockers have their own key. They also provide you with an extra towel, just in case you forgot! To enter the hostel, you have to ring the bell, so it is safe! You can hear the sound of trains coming and going any time at night; don't expect a good night's sleep if you are sensitive. Well, the neighborhood doesn't look safe at all, so be really careful; even early in the morning, you can see junkies around.

Friendly staff Such a scary neighborhood full of homeless people everywhere that makes it complicated every time you wanna leave the hostel. The room is extremely small, with no windows. The kitchen doesn’t have any good equipment, everything is broken and obsolete.

Diego was super helpful when i had questions, place was comfy and very homely. Good balcony view of the neighborhood. Central location means its near community of homeless people but many police around and i didnt really feel unsafe so its good
