Reviews

Good location near a metro stop, attentive and multilingual staff, cozy and inviting lounge and patio areas. Water pressure went down in the evening which affected the toilets, fans were running even though it was cold outside.
-
Very dirty. Not even soap in the bathroom!!!!!
-
There is not a lot of bathroom. Bed is a little squeky, some of my roomates are really messy and smells like cigarrete,
-
Vendor Market across the street was a gold mine.

This was my second time there, I was more than happy to stay there, seeing familiar warm faces, and when I go back to SP, if I have something to do around that neighborhood, I will definitely stay there again.

My first impressions weren’t good - mostly because I checked in before the hostel had been cleaned for the morning, there were beer cans everywhere in the front and a used condom on the floor of my room ? it does however get cleaned everyday, and is generally a chill place to stay. I had the 4 bed dorm to myself which was good.

The place is beautiful from the inside, feminine room is clean and pretty, and the staff is really nice The people inside were creepy, full of old men who try to flirt with you (as a solo woman), and you feel very insecure. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE we were double locking our room, it’s really not a safe place to stay In case of emergency or if you are not alone, it could be ok, but

Weird people

The place was very dirty, the staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable and at times I felt unsafe. The facility looked nothing like the pictures and people walk in and out of your room at odd hours
-
Excellent hosts. Especially Phil. Will be back!

Friendly staff

Very receptive staff, they help you with whatever you need. The location is awesome for both who enjoys nightlife or quiet places, because the street is very calm but also is near busy places such as Bela Vista, Vila Mariana as well as the Paraíso subway station to take you to the best places in the city. Just the fan, I wasn’t that hot those days, but I think it couldn’t be enough in the summer.

The location is marvellous, there are so many restaurants nearby and it looks such a safe neighborhood and they have a nice patio! The beds are old and uncomfortable
