I booked a room for two double beds non smoking & when I got there he showed me a reservation on his page that I booked a suite which was not true. I then ask him why cant he just swap this & make this right he said I could go to book online for another room. I didnt want a room with one bed and a pull out bed that was very uncomfortable. The guy at the desk didnt seem to care & if I would have got there earlier I would have Left and gone to a NICER place. Will not bother to stay there again & good luck if he treats you any better than he did me.

Place was under construction. I didn’t realize that Microtel meant the rooms were really tiny. That was my mistake. Rooms were clean, but every floor was under construction and I heard thumping from the floor above for half the night from some of the work. There were no amenities to speak of!!!

Severely dirty bed lining with burnt holes and mattress stained with yellow and dark brown spots. And the continental breakfast was just cereal and waffle maker.

My family and I booked this room last minute due to the property being pet friendly. This was the only perk about our stay at the Microtel. We booked two non smoking one queen bed suites. This was a road trip, so when we arrived at the property, everyone had to use the bathroom before we were given our rooms. The bathroom was visibly dirty, the toilet cover receptacle was empty, a toilet paper roll was sitting on top of the toilet paper receptacle, the soap and paper towel receptacle was empty. We got the keys and were on the third and fourth floors. The elevator was in need of service and made a terrifying and noticeable reverberating sound when it stopped on the floor, we thought we were going to die everytime we rode. First inspection of the rooms, the rooms reeked of cigarettes, filthy bathroom with filthy towels and wash cloths, we found a piece of someone’s nail on the floor under the pull out. They have laundry area on second floor, went for cleaning supplies and towels, cleaned the room ourselves, and wore shower shoes(wore shoes the entire time). Toilet broke 2nd day, and had to get room keys fixed everyday, this was a four day stay. Advertised for late check in on website and fee for pet, paid for both. Late check was for 12:30 pm. Also advertised in our welcome itinerary.Last day harassed by day attendant beginning at 11:45am saying they don’t honor late check ins and if we didn’t leave immediately we would have to pay for another day. We left at noon.

The only thing I have to say is that they need better key cards other than that everything else was good.

We were VERY disappointed with this hotel. To start, there was construction at the hotel that we were not made aware of in advance - one half of the floor we were on was closed and undergoing renovation. The rooms we had were also in poor condition - the tub in one room was stained and the coffee maker in the other room was broken. The sheets on the beds in both rooms were stained and in the room where the coffee maker worked, the lid was growing mold. In short, the rooms were quite gross but as we arrived at midnight after an 11 hour drive, we did not notice until the morning. The free breakfast was also quite disappointing. It consisted of sugary cereal, instant oatmeal and grits, stale bagels, mini muffins and Belgian waffles. There was no juice, no yogurt, no hard boiled eggs and they didnt have cream for the coffee (only powdered coffeemate). We ended up buying breakfast at a rest stop when we got back on the road the next morning. I will be avoiding this hotel brand in the future!

The room also had a strong smoke odor that was being covered up with a strong cologne smell, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. In addition, the door to the room was difficult to open and would stick—you had to push extremely hard just to get it to open. Once we arrived we found out the hotel was under construction and that limited rooms were available, but the overall experience was disappointing. The elevator was another concern. It was a very unsettling ride and honestly felt like one of the “terror elevators” at Universal—definitely not a comfortable experience. Hopefully, once the construction is complete, the hotel will improve, but our stay left a lot to be desired.

Someone used cups in room as ashtrays and they were still on tray like they could be used. Was not clean. The whole place was sketchy.

Mejorar la atencion y limpieza

Outside rough but understandable because of refurbishing the property. Had to walk through a construction to get to room but once got to the room, it’s one of the best rooms we’ve stayed in in the last five days.

Booked a queen suite that sleeps 5 on Thursday. Traveled to this location on Friday. Did the pre-check in online Friday around lunch. Entered all critical information, phone numbers, uploaded a pic of my driver license. All done. We arrive around 8:00PM Friday night. The lady at the front desk said that they did not have a room for us like we booked, but they did have some single queen rooms. She did not offer any solutions at all. Said they couldn't call me because they did not have my phone number. My number was entered at Hotels.com as well as on the Microtel pre-check in process. I told her that a single queen would not accommodate my family. Again, no offer to put us in two rooms for the same price or even for an increased price. This was a great example of terrible customer service. We have stayed at other Microtel hotels before and have had good experiences. This will probably be our last time for a while until the bad taste is gone. There are too many hotels to put up with service like this. We had to go to two other hotels in the area before we found a place to sleep. Again, Microtel did nothing to help....did not offer multiple rooms or call another hotel to see where we might could go. Just said sorry and blamed the online bookings sites for overbooking them. Remember that we pre-checked in earlier that same afternoon and never had a problem. Like I said....terrible customer service.

The staff was very helpful and got us a room where we had great accomidations.

Clean room, friendly staff
-
Very nice and quiet! Felt very safe!
-
My daughter was bitten by bed bugs. Which she is highly allergic to bug bites. So this was very traumatic for us.
-
Great location. Nice comfy room.
-
Staff was welcoming. It was relatively inexpensive. Despite being billed as a non-smoking property, everything had an odor of cigarette smoke, including the room. It seemed they just tried to paint over it thinking that would eliminate the odor. It didn’t.

I get online a one bed room king bed and when I got they give me a handicapped room double bed that’s really bad
-
I scheduled three rooms in March under my name for my family for three rooms. When we checked in our three rooms were all the same with two queens with a mandatory deposit that the desk clerk guaranteed us to get our deposit back for all three rooms. Hopefully, the property will do the right thing and refund each room, as the desk clerk said we would get the deposit when we checked out. PLEASE MAKE THIS RIGHT.
