This hotel is in the heart of the arts district and downtown Sarasota, so it is very walkable. They also offer a free shuttle, including to the beach, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and bags. The bar and restaurant were very welcoming, and the pool area was lovely. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The sheets were perfect, and I'm pretty picky about sheets.

Had a great stay at Voco. Staff was very friendly and the amenities were outstanding.

Despite website stating free parking, there was a $40.00 charge. Front desk dismissed when it was brought to their attention.

Staff it situated on the border of the city center

A special thank you to Jake and Tiffany at the front desk for their outstanding service and warm hospitality. Also, thank you to the restaurant staff who served me breakfast—they were friendly, attentive, and made each morning a great start to the day. Overall, everything was great, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great service and very clean

We loved this unique, well run hotel. Everyone was helpful and fun to talk to. Jake at check-in was great. The room was lovely and clean and the location was outstanding.

I purchased a bundle through Expedia and also purchased the breakfast daily for an additional charge. The staff was friendly and the man said they would put the breakfast tickets under our door for the next mornings breakfast. The tickets were not under the door and we had to ask the lady the next morning. She then gave us 4 days of tickets, when we were supposed to get 5. When sitting down to breakfast it's a very limited expensive menu and the tickets only cover 35 dollars and we have to cover the rest. That should of been a detail in the breakfast purchase. Also while checking in he did let us check in early which I was very happy about however he took my card and said it was just to put in on file. I noticed everyday I was charged 75 dollars. I then questioned the lady ( acouple days later)at the front desk and she said there was a 40 dollar a day parking fee and 27 dollar fee for the use of the bikes and pool. Mean while I have already paid for the room for 5 days and didn't figure in an additional 400 dollar charge. I personally will never purchase a vacation bundle through Expedia again.

The bed and drinks. Staff nice. To far from beach. Charged for beach gear and transportation, within 3 miles of hotel, even if you don’t use the transportation and/or beach gear. The price on booking website is about $60 more after checkout. Parking is $40 a night and not for entire stay. Other charges you will have to pay that aren’t on the booking website.
