We loved this hotel with the exception of the expensive parking fee. Very clean, modern and lots to do. Staff were pleasant and flexible with our big party

Location is terrific. Roof top was very cool, service was great! Breakfast was very good and nice ambience. The property is getting a bit “worn” time to update. Thought valet parking for $45.00 was over the top, a $29.00 fee for a van (that I didn’t use) was offensive. I travel for business and I usually don’t stay there, but tried it since summer rates were lower.. Glad I went, glad I tried it once was enough.

Clean and extremely friendly staff

This hotel gad the most excellent shower. Large aspect black tiles and rain can shower head, hotel situated proximal to everything you need! The coloured pencils and sketching was so fun - loved all the personal touches ❤️

Great place to stay , close to everything , very different and unique concept , and amazingly nice staff , room was spacious and clean

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were impressed. Everything was extremely clean, classy, and immaculate, and you immediately feel the artistic vision of the hotel. There was a jazz band and pianist playing during our stay, which added even more to the atmosphere. The front desk staff, especially Chase and Els, were incredibly helpful and really set the tone for the level of service we experienced throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with exceeded our expectations. Our room was incredibly spacious, and we had a beautiful city view with a breathtaking look at the Sarasota skyline. We spent Saturday at the rooftop bar and pool and invited some friends to hang out with us for the day. They were warmly welcomed by the staff, and we all had lunch by the pool. It turned into a wonderful, relaxing day and one of the highlights of our stay. I also have to mention the salmon and lox bagels—they were absolutely incredible and something I will definitely be ordering again. Another thing that makes this hotel so great is the location. It is close to everything downtown, which made exploring Sarasota incredibly convenient. We will definitely be back. Next time, we plan to take advantage of the bicycles and beach chair rentals as well. Overall, this was an incredible stay, and Art Ovation exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. Highly recommended!

Interesting art theme. Lobby and public spaces like an art gallery. Lively entertainment. Nice spacious rooms.Did not use restaurant , Would prefer a more traditional restaurant. Mini bar selection too small. Rooftop bar ,pool, etc, not used it was rainong. But it is an excellent facility with good views. Parking fee a little expensive.

Clean room

The food served in the restaurant was absolutely marvelous, particularly their breakfasts. The rooftop bar drinks or a bit light on the alcohol, but the view was spectacular and service. Pleasant. Great location.

Great staff, the staff working at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. And the bar tender working in the lobby was awesome.

would love a hand help in the shower

Upon checking in, I was greeted by the receptionist, who provided me with information for my stay. He was a very polite and friendly gentleman. He offered me a welcome drink, which I thought was nice. I booked 2 rooms, and they were both very clean and nice. The location of this hotel was nice, well-maintained, and clean. Parking off-site, in the covered garage, was a little expensive for the guests of the hotel. A discount should've been offered with proof of stay. Overall, I would stay again if I'm in the area.
