Extended Stay America Suites Portland Scarborough

That it was decently close to downtown Portland. That it was very uncomfortable with the guests staying there, hallway smelt very badly when we first walked in and it seems like people were living there short term. Probably would never stay there again.

This place is awful. The door handle was dirty, the headboard was dirty. Pillows looked like they had been used. The bathroom door handle came off and the main door wouldn’t even lock. There was only a thin sheet on the bed too. The fan in the bathroom sounded like an aeroplane engine if I’m honest.

butts. The laundry room had an overflowing trashcan and trash all over the floor. Parties every night in the parking lots. Caught a guy with his shorts pulled down and his junk hanging out peeing beside the parking lot, so drunk he could barely walk. The entire place inside and out smelled like Marijuana. The first day I was walking barefoot in my room the bottom of my feet turned black. I had to buy a swiffer and other products to clean my room. The location was good and the staff was very nice but I cut my stay short and left. Not a good family environment.

The location was great -- conveniently located off the highway and close to Portland and Old Orchard Beach. We were also pretty close to the Mall where you have tons of restaurant options. The hotel is not fancy and doesn't offer the same amenities as other chains.

Good Location! That I paid full price and people are staying there way cheaper for the week!!!

Breakfast was a on the go style, coffee packaged muffins. Which definitly hit the spot, so we had time to site see.

Find another place to stay. We saw the room and the common areas and immediately check out to find another hotel. Filthy.

The room was clean and nicely set up. Although they do require a 100$ deposit that you get back a few days after checkout. So that was weird.

Well maintained and clean. Great access to stores nearby They switched our booking from a king suite to 2 queens without telling us then claimed they only have 2 king suites now that they only book for extended stays

Everything was clean and well taken care of ample parking nice benches to sit at free breakfast was a plus It'd be nice to be able to enter at all exit/entrances at all hours with a key card
