Baymont by Wyndham Shakopee

Room smelled, air was stagnant in room. Lock on slider door to access pool side was broke, toilet seat was loose, ran out of hot water while taking shower in morning. Overall condition of hotel looked rough. Lavatory faucet leaked water out of stem when used… in my professional (been in construction for 40 years) opinion there is no maintenance done on property.

Pool area was nice.

The best get away ever cause you coukd eat by the pool so u have the view play there a game room a gym at two hot pools the best

Breakfast was exceptional. We loved visiting with the chef. Recommend!

Great location for the new Amphitheater. Too bad our concert was rained out. Liked the restaurant next door. Rooms were a little run down, but overall good experience

Staff were very friendly, area was a mess. Weeds everywhere. Dave show was cancelled so fans were all over the place and the hotel was welcoming!

Arrival and check in was super easy. Staff was very helpful and answered any questions. Rooms need some upgrades but we had no issues with our room. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but the area looked nice and well maintained. Was within walking distance to the Amphitheater.

I feel like the pictures were very deceiving. We had a room that overlooked the pool area so we had zero natural light from a window. I didn't even want to be barefoot in the bathroom because of how gross it was. Same with the pool/spa area. The whole place felt extremely dirty. Our room smelled like we had a heavy smoker living there so it was super musty smelling. Overall not a great experience and I don’t have a very high bar for hotels. Also the breakfast was served in the same area as the pool which seems really unsanitary.

Nice place to stay overall. Pool area is really well setup. Not the nicest hotel you'll ever stay at but you'll be comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

First room was dirty and air conditioner was making lots of noise. Staff kindly changed our room and we stayed there. We were very tired and had limited time in the room, but after a few minutes it was apparent that the room was very dirty. Beds were clean and changed, but had long hairs on me that were none of our families after showering. Stains on the wall that look like blood by the light switch. There were two fresh stains on the carpet of some sort of spill or vomit, not sure. Hallways smelled like weed. One of the two beds was broken and tilted to the side, TV started glitching when my kids watched a movie and changing after 15 minutes to a different movie three times. Hallways were dirty and unkempt. If we had booked for more than one night, we would have absolutely canceled.

It was very old, dilapidated, not maintained, stinky. Kids had fun in the pool but I would not have gotten in it.

Smells of mold carpets haven't been cleaned in years ... toilet seat was broken... fridge smelt horrible

The Muddy Cow was the Best part. Everything needs improvement.

The room temp was at 74 all nite. They tried to fix it but it would not go down in fact it was 75 when we got up. Did not have a good nite's sleep.

The staff was excellent. Specializing in customer service myself the staff was awesome especially with my special needs daughter!!!

The room was dirty and smoke alarm didn't work. They switched us to a room and the AC didn't work. Had to wait for maintenance to fix it. Terrible stay. Staff tried to help but seemed short staffed.

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good and the cook was very nice. Loved that it was close to Valleyfair!

Room door didn’t wanna open had to yank on it. The hallways had smells of weed everywhere . The hot tub was dirty the ladder and handle in pool all broken stuff floating in hot tub will never stay aagain
