Spacious room, convenient location, good value, decent breakfast. The room had a smell when I checked in, a bit stale or perhaps cig smoke (although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room). It wasn't too bad, but still strong enough to notice. That's why I gave the room a less than perfect cleanliness score. The view out the window was disappointing, a big yard of chillers and fans.

Location. Lots of bicycles and motorcycles parked on the street making it very narrow to walk especially at night due to poor lighting. The lobby is very big but no chair for guest to sit to wait for ride or check-in. The Hotel is hard to see from side street due to overgrown trees.

Friendly staff, great location Old equipments and no toothbrushes & toothpaste for the first 2 nights until we requested them. But overall we had almost everything we needed.

The best thing about the hotel was the location in the jing'an district. The hotel was placed close to shops, restaurants, and other facilities around the area. The hotel was also within walking distance of the nightlife areas of Changle and Julu roads which was a real plus. The hotel is abit tired and could do with a decent makeover. Other than that there wasn't too much to complain about, but compared to some other 4-5 star hotels that we stayed at during our time in China, i'd say this hotel was the most underwhelming.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location, professional and courteous staff. Wireless device charger in the room would be a welcome modern update. Also the booking confirmation noted laundry facilities, but there are no self service machines, only drop off service.
