City centre location, close to the train station was excellent. Check-in/out was easy, staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast range and quality was good, and the restaurant/bar was spacious with a decent menu. The bed was comfortable with a firm mattress, and the room was of a good size. The shower looked new and had good power, with plenty of hot water. The wifi was quick to setup and worked very well, with a large desk and comfortable office chair. The iron and board were in good condition and worked well, as did the kettle. Although the hotel has a gym it is small, with too much disused or old equipment, and no air conditioning so it got very hot quickly. The pool is very small, more for relaxation than exercise. The room's window didn't open far and there was no air conditioning which feels poor for a hotel of this quality; the fan provided was noisy and didn't do much to cool the room overnight. The bathroom and toilet were clean but felt dated apart from the shower, and the carpets could have been cleaner (both in-room and throughout the hotel).

Great location Mattress was too hard wasn’t very comfortable struggled to sleep, pillows wasn’t great either, room constantly became too warm and stuffy even with window open and fan on, other then that great stay.

Nice hotel and the facilities in the hotel are very good Parking too expensive and very hard to drive. The bus lane outside made people so easily to. be fined!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all so helpful. The room rate was very reasonable and we were offered an upgrade to a suite for a small extra amount and it was well worth it. The pool was warm and a great experience. The location is fantastic, with the Winter Gardens, peace garden and plenty of shops and restaurants very close by.
