The Alb

I liked the bottles of water in the room and plenty of coffee and tea and a fridge. Very close to the bus and train stations. Easy to find. The staff were lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable and once the window was shut it was very quiet. Seemed like quite a cool room despite the heat outside. The water in the shower didn't seem to get hot enough and the toilet seat needs adjusting. I didn't enjoy the breakfast of poached eggs as they had a strange taste. I was a bit alarmed by all the England flags hanging up outside which must have been recently put up, as they are not in the images on there advertising.

Comfy bed, good shower Tv didn't work, room overall a bit tired and in need of an update.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the double bed was small but comfy and the room was clean, there was an iron a portablebfan and hairdryer in the room There is no fridge in the room unfortunately, bottled water is provided but it was warm. We had a room looking out to the outdoor area of the alb, the first night was quiet, second night was noisy til just gone 10pm, there was constant banging every 30 seconds or so, I don't know if they were playing games but it sounded like they were throwing balls or beanbags into metal buckets !! Looked forward to breakfast had a terribly long wait, my partner's bacon was like solidified wood, it was that hard, I had eggs Benedict, never seen it made with a bagel before ? But that was also inedible, it was like a rock !! We walked away without eating it, we had a lovely breakfast the following morning at Churchill's just opposite! Even though the bed was comfy we didn't sleep very well as there was a loud beeping noise going off through the night coming from the hall area ! We wouldn't stay again.

Friendly staff Bathroom not clean, Missed breakfast as its served late at the weekend.

The location Shower was rubbish more water came from connecting pipe than the actual shower head . Fridge didnt work only one coat hanger . Curtains did fit right letting in to much light . The door to get into the room was very hard to unlock took us over 20 minutes to un lock we rang several times to explain we couldn’t get in and no assistance came bearing in mind this was two elderly woman on their own

The breakfast was good Nothing. It well organised service

There There was no towel in the bathroom. Room was hot. No Telephone to contact reception. Going out of the building is not ideal specially at night. The ceiling fan goes off when the light is put of this making the room hot in summer

Convenient location and nice breakfast! The room was located ground level at a busy street so the noise from the traffic was loud. The tv or fridge didn't work.

The staff and breakfast were excellent The stairs up to the room but as it's above a pub so it was to be expected.

Fabulous location and although tiny rooms The overall space was pretty good . The shower was tiny

Breakfast a bit spartan, 5 minute walk to Shrewsbury station.Good coffee shop and grocery shop on main street karioke until 23:00.

Perfect location, good food, friendly staff. Room just needed a bit of tlc. New sofa/light fixture.

Excellent breakfast and the lady was so nice :)
