The town and parking were all in easy walking distance and two Wetherspoons pubs are located within a ten minute walk for a reasonable breakfast. The room was clean and the owner/manager responded quickly to a beeping noise coming from a safety light. The property is situated on a busy main road and the rooms are small and very basic. The owner/manager is situated thirty minutes away and you speak to him through a ring doorbell and over the phone to enter the building and your room.

The only positive is how close it is to the train station. Everything. The room was dirty, the toilet seat was on the floor, there was a hole in the wall, hairs and cigarette burn holes in the sheets. Bedding smelt unclean, it was disgusting. Awful place to stay for nearly £100 a night!!! Plus harassment over texts/calls & voicemail from the owner prior to arriving in Shrewsbury. Wish I took more photos of how awful it was but alas we wanted to be in that room for a little time as possible.

The room was reasonably spacious and clean, and the location was very convenient for the station. Having to stand on the pavement, late at night and alone, for rather too long while someone the other side of a Ring doorbell checked on my booking and eventually let me in. All the door locks are electric with no manual deadlock, so I didn't feel safe in my room. The "emergency lighting" in the room was far too bright, and there was quite a bit of noise.

The location was great for the train station and attractions The shower only came out hot. The bathroom sink tap only let water out at a trickle. The bed was very uncomfortable.
