I stayed at Grand Bayon Hotel multiple times during my motorcycle world trip, and it truly became a special place for me. The location is perfect — very central, with everything easily reachable on foot. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and offers a beautiful pool area, which is great to relax after a long day. What really stands out is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always welcoming you with a smile. This made a big difference during my stay. I’m especially grateful that I could return here several times during my journey. It’s a place where you can stay not just for a few nights, but also longer, and feel comfortable. You get a lot of value for a very fair price, and I can absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Thank you to the entire team and management for being part of my journey and for creating such great memories.

Clean Great location. Within walking distance to everything but quiet at night. Staff were wonderful Pool could use more lounger but there isn’t room for them. Chairs with ottomans might be an option.

The staff helped in everything and room is basic but has coffee tea fridge water ! Don’t watch tv but have one ! Spent an exhausting day at temples and slept well ! It’s a good hotel with a good swimming pool and all restaurants and spas are just a stone throw away! Basically good for chilling and breakfast is great too ! Internet is sporadic on upper floors I was on 3 rd floor

The location was excellent as it was just off one of the main roads with bars and restaurants, supermarkets, street shops etc. and within easy walking distance to other sites and attractions. The Hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly and with excellent English. The pool area was smaller than expected however a lovely setting. The bed was very comfortable however the pillows were a bit soft for us (personal preference for a firmer pillow). We would recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel was perfect, great location just 10mins walk to pub street and yet away from the noisy area. Lots of restaurants and spa's nearby. Rooms were of a good size and clean. The staff were extremely hospitable. Breakfast buffet was great. No negatives

- Close to local spots (pub street, Old Market, night market) - Friendly staff - Good TV channels - Able to print documents - Air conditioning wasn't too strong - Lack of plugs near bedside to charge phone - No new towels - No hand towels - WiFi was very weak (almost non existant at some points)

Staff was helpful and friendly and kind. A decent breakfast was included. As all rooms faced the pool, there was a fair amount of sound transfer to the rooms if a large group was in the pool. However, it was not a deal breaker. We normally sleep with earplugs. The bathroom is large with a separate tub and walk-in shower, and we found the walk-in shower to be extremely slippery.

size, cleanliness and comfort. friendly and professional staff swimming pool open late. would prefer 6 am to exercise before it gets too hot since there is no gym.
