Phka Chan Hotel

Lovely quiet good-sized pool. Staff are lovely and very attentive (had issue with noise from rear neighboring property the first night and management fixed it). Breakfast good. Lunch at property good. $1 per kg laundry at shop opposite hotel- highly recommend! The walk back from Pub Streer isn’t too far at night and can be a bit ‘interesting’ on Sok Sang Road ? but the hotel is so close to everything a Grab tuk tuk is super cheap. A very nice good value hotel in Siem Reap. Only 1 room card provided so when you leave the room the AC does not stay on.

Big room. pretty clean Breakfast was cold, the soups not hot, rice was dry and hard. Cockroaches everyday in the bathroom, the bathroom was infested. Coming out of the drains, the toilet, the electrical outlets. RAID does not kill these German roaches. A real treatment is needed. They even came in the front door frame. Room is very hot the a/c needs cleaning.

All the stuff of the hotel were exceptional, ready to assist in any question you might have. The room was big and clean . Location is very good in proximity of stores and restorants. I will come back with pleasure and recommend it to friends.

We had a wonderful one-week stay and truly enjoyed everything about this hotel. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh watermelon juice, great cappuccino, delicious guacamole, a wide variety of fruits, omelets, fresh vegetables, and salads — everything felt fresh and healthy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with anything, which made us feel very welcome from day one. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet little corner, yet just a 5-minute walk from the night market, bars, and restaurants — a perfect balance between peaceful relaxation and easy access to the city life. We stayed in a huge honeymoon suite, which was beautiful and tastefully decorated, with a cozy balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area is surrounded by lush greenery, very calm and quiet, mostly shaded, with comfortable loungers and towels available. Great Wi-Fi throughout the property as well. Everything exceeded our expectations. We would happily come back again. All good.

This stay was the highlight of our 3 week Vietnam/Cambodia trip mainly due to the charming and efficient Ms. Vansy and her ever smiling and polite staff. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends n family.

You can go perhaps in a way more expensive Hotel, and think: “I will enjoy it better”, in fact what will make you really enjoy the place you book it is not how expensive it is and so how comfortable you think that place will be, but HOW THE STAFF MAKE YOU FEEL. When you will go back home, after years you will remember this place for how they deeply made you feel. Firstly SAILA: you are one of a kind, your welcoming smile, knowledge, enthusiasm really made the difference to myself stay. SREYMAO: thank you for cleaning to perfection the room daily and set up a wonderful flowers PRACH: thank you for the help with my scooter, and welcoming me back with an incredible smile! MITHUNA: thanks for making an incredible cappuccino for me every day! SREY: thanks for supporting with bookings! And to all the team I did not mention I’m sorry, you are all INCREDIBLE!! To the OWNER, compliment for having such an excellent team, who loves their job! I Hope they are all well paid for their professionalism! I Booked for 4 nights at first, then of course add 2 more; I was celebrating a special day and without asking for it they upgrade my room to a suite for the same price, organized flowers in the room with a warm flowers bath waiting for me. There is not a single team member that does not stop to give you a warm welcome after every time you step foot out of the Hotel. Room: clean/ specious/ welcoming with balcony/ cleaned every day to perfection Breakfast: buffet style, with option for barista coffee, change daily Amenities: swimming pool, 24h concierge service/ gym/ spa DO NOT waste you time looking at other Hotels, if you want to have an incredible time, just come here!

The mature vegetation is so nice, but could be trimmed. Lots of kid noise.

We loved everything, the facilities were great, the location perfect, almost on the sok san rd with its bars and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to pub st. It was still quiet and peaceful, a little Oasis. The main reason we loved this place so much were the staff. Vansy and her team went above and beyond, from the cold tiger balm flannels when we returned from a long day sightseeing to the guys spraying insect repellent when leaving for an evening out. Small things but they add up. But it was their smiles that make this place special! We fell in love we Cambodia and it’s people and Phka Chan is a big reason why❤️

Exceptional

Very nice and clean rooms and common staces, very friendly staff. Everything was perfect.

The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The staff were absolutely and incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. We end up booking two days tours with the hotel. A place I would definitely consider staying again. Location was good for me. You’ll find a laundromat in front of the hotel and 7/11 store around the corner. I also found a restaurant near by where I ordered the same yummy dish every day… Just some minor things that I’m sure the hotel can fix for future are mini fridges didn’t work in room 101-102 and shower pressure was a little weak. Also for me a bin in the room too would be great there’s one in the bathroom).

What really sets this hotel apart from the rest is the service. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this is the best service I’ve ever received hands down. Every single member of staff at this place is fantastic and they really can’t do enough for you. Every time you leave and enter the hotel grounds you’re greeted and asked if you need anything. When waking up at 4:30am for our Angkor Wat trip they packed us a breakfast which was very kind. The pool area is beautiful and breakfast is pretty good (better when not operating as a buffet). The rooms were spacious and very clean. The AC was okay (very effective in the evening but seemed to get turned down a bit overnight). Overall I’d recommend this hotel without hesitation and would return in a heartbeat if we come back to Siem Reap, which we may well do, as we really enjoyed the city generally. Nothing.

The hotel, staff, and service were so exceptional that I extended my stay! The team is incredibly helpful and kind. They assisted with booking activities and flights, recommended places to visit, and shared insights about the local culture. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and they genuinely cared about me throughout my stay. Before my excursions, they thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast for me to take along. Special thanks to Seila, Makara, Phally, and Chhun, who ensured I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Shoutout to the two young men at the entrance (sorry I didn’t catch your names) who helped with my suitcase and greeted me warmly every time I came and went. I was quite demanding, but they always accommodated my requests and provided answers to all my questions. The hotel is spotlessly clean—a little oasis. The location is ideal, tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still close to attractions and the city center. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and well cared for. I can’t wait to return next year with my family! For a relaxing stay where you’re truly looked after, I highly recommend staying here! Everything was perfect!

This hotel was superb value for money with outstanding breakfast and the friendliest staff. Walking distance to the main strip for food and drinks and 20 mins to ankor wat temples. The bed was a bit firm but still comfy and the place was a little noisy from construction and cicadas at night but the whole of cambodia is noisy..

Staff were really lovely & helpful Hotel was walking distance for Pub Street and Old Markets Airconditioning in the rooms was inadequate - we had to ask for a fan Pool looked lovely on arrival, but did not cope when the hotel was fully occupied. It became milky and soupy Breakfast was in an open air room, so flies were an issue with the buffet. Food was passable. There was often noise in the evenings from surrounding places

Very kind staff, every single one of them! Good breakfast, nice and clean room, amazing location (walking distance to the center). The pool was also clean and the right temperature for a refreshment. If we come to Siem Reap again, we will return.
