Not Safe, very dirty, rude staff

Generally clean but there was a critter in the bathroom

could use a few more electric outlets, and tv was inoperable when i was there, possibly a temporary situation

Great location: a quiet place but only a few streets from where the action and nightlife is. Good supermarket nearby. Mr. Yang is a most friendly host who looks after everything, just ask. The room was simple, everything's a bit old but it works. Hot water, cold fridge. Good value for your money if you're not too much of a comfort creature.

The location is great The room was very old, everything needs renovation. Disgusting smell, dirty and old bathroom, old towels, dirty fridge, to hairdryer, no shampoo.

Lovely old style building with lots of character and charm. Location is brilliant. Close to the river where the food and Nik nak markets are located. Restaurants across the road. Staff at hotel very helpful. Had trouble getting the hot water going but staff got that working quickly

Great place. My room (on the left, half the way to the 2nd floor) was big, had two beds, was clean and well equipped with nice wooden furniture. Air condition worked well. Staff were very friendly. Pub Street can be reached within 5-6 minutes when you use the shortcut (not visible on Google Maps, go into the narrow street to the South). The hotel is guest friendly which is not common in Siem Reap. The only thing that could be better was the rather small bathroom with wet floor after each shower. Dear U Dara, please consider offering some simple breakfast—simple baguettes served in your cafe would make my stay even more pleasant.

I spent a longer time in the guesthouse. The room I finally got was just perfect. It was large, it had two big windows, and a large desk for work. It was on the 2nd floor, the common terrace was just outside my window. The staff is great. They also have a café downstairs, which seems to only cater for guests. I sometimes sat there working even without ordering anything. Location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the river, pub street is also walking distance - actually everything is, I never used a tuktuk. Your satisfaction with the guesthouse may depend on which room you get. The first room I got had no window, although it was large and comfortable. The second one did have a window, but it was downstairs (noise). My third room was the one I described above - just perfect! Internet was OK, but not always good. If you need internet access all the time, prepare for this and use your mobile data (although that is again sometimes very slow, but at least working).

The location was good, close to a lot of places, like markets, restaurants & bars, in the city. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. It was also quiet at night so you could get your sleep. The room had what you needed and everything worked fine! We thought the bed and pillows were a bit hard but we just stayed a couple of nights and for that we thought it was still a good option! The pillows, to big and quite hard to sleep on.
