Very good

Big room close to all the shopping and restaurants There were bugs crawling all over the floor downstairs near the pool. The shower made a squealing noise and they could use some more searing for their breakfast area

Hébergement propre convenable, mais qui aura très bientôt besoin de rénovations majeures pour mettre à jour; murs endommagés, chambres sombres, plafonds en stucco. Déjeuner très bien et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine.

A large rat ran in front of the front door apparently feeding on garbage bins. Not very reassuring as to the status of this hotel

The service at Best Western was outstanding. They could not do enough for you. The whole hotel is decorated in 250 years of America.

Friendliness at check in , kudos to Melissa. Very informative regarding what to do in Portland. Rooms were very clean, kept up. The hallways leading to the rooms needed a better vacuuming.

The hallways, common areas, elevators etc were all a bit tired and shabby.

This was an amazing Hotel and staff. Thank you all so much! Will definitely be back if ever visiting Maine again!

Front desk help was not very friendly, very short when I asked questions and when I called down for bedding for the couch gave short rude response. Next morning way before check out I got a knock on my door and it was house keeping who didn’t announce who they were and just stared at me when I opened the door. As we were leaving I witnessed them go down the hall door to door knocking not announcing and opening doors which still had guests in as they quietly shut the door.

Took 2 days to get any sort of housekeeping and I had 2 little kids with me... Had to take our own trash to the dumpster because staff refused to take it. They left a giant mound of laundry in the hallway for more than a day. We had trouble communicating with the staff members. Asked for certain items and were given the wrong things. I had 3 rooms for me and my family members and we all were unimpressed.
