Exceeded all expectations. The staff/owner, property, room, breakfast and the location are all excellent! I can not think of anything.

Excellent location. Enjoyed being inside the historical palace. Friendly staff/owner. Lovely breakfast. I wasn’t prepared for the multiple bell towers starting at 6am through 7am but we needed to be up early so it was fine. Upon leaving we noticed a mouse had gotten into some electrolyte packets left in my empty suitcase but we never encountered it during our stay

The service was spectacular as was the owner!

Amazing location connected to the old city wall. Central to everything in Split. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Really nice breakfast with a million dollar view of the palace. Very little to dislike. It does not have an elevator. It is only four stories but that could be an issue for someone with limited mobility.

The location in Old town was excellent. The facility is modern and current. Breakfast was excellent. The Staff was very helpful Nothing! Peristil is outstanding!

And a lovely breakfast too!

Great location, staff was wonderful and good room and breakfast

Location and attentiveness of staff. Miele, the owner, was on site, chatting with us. Helped arrange a wonderful dinner reservation for 8 last minute and gave our group of 8 us a parting gift of lovely chocolates! I liked everything. We had a minor issue as I was packing my suitcase to leave, I realized that a mouse had gotten into the hydration packets and vitamins left in my empty suitcase.

Location No operating restaurant or bar even though they do offer breakfast and they have the space as well as a patio.

Clean. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect.

Great location in old town

Location, location, location! I love functional exercise, so no elevator was a bonus! The breakfast was awesome too!

The hotel couldn't be in a better location; both the train and the bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away. It's a real gem because it's situated within Diocletian's Palace, which makes it even more special and allows you to appreciate the city centre even more. Despite being in a tourist hotspot, I find it surprisingly peaceful. Generally speaking, the staff are very nice and friendly; on one occasion I had to leave before breakfast time and they had prepared a lunch box for me, which I really appreciated.

Everything was amazing, the location and the hotel staff made the trip so much more memorable. The hotel is direkt in the palace, the room does have an old antique style but yet cozy and classy. The breakfast food was limited but right amount and the eggs were made to perfection! The hotel owner was extremely kind, it felt like a coming home instead to a huge hotel buisness. The staff also responded quickly to our requests, and made sure we had a good stay. The room was very clean and bed was on the softer side but still could sleep well. We went in the off seasons so it was not loud, even though the hotel is direkt in a major tourist spot. The heating unit is a little loud while on, but that is not a deal breaker,we just turned it off during the night.

Vladimir was waiting for us and greeted us by name o the evening we arrived. He along with the other staff were so welcoming and friendly and full of fun and laughs. Our room was perfect for us for our three day stay. Breakfast in the morning was made to order. We loved being able to wander around the town for a little while and return to the room for a rest. The location is excellent just inside one of the gates to the palace. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed. There was no kettle for hot water but that was easily solved by asking a member of staff for a jug of hot water. There is nothing about this hotel that is not to like. A small hotel with all the charm of a family run place where guests are individuals and treated as such. A really memorable place to stay.

Wonderful!

ONLY THE LOCATION I DIDN'T LIKE THE BREAKFAST... NO CHOICES. EVERYTHING WAS AVERAGE UNTIL IT CAME TIME TO FOR THE BILL. THE HOTEL HAS YET TO PAY ME BACK FOR A DUPLICATE PAYMENT. I WAS TOLD I HAD OVERPAID. I WAS TOLD THAT A REFUND OF THE OVERAGE WOULD BE DEPOSITED INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. I HAVE SPENT SINCE THE END OF SEPTEMBER TRYING TO GET THE HOTEL OWNERS TO SEND THE 189 EUROS. EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE. NO FUNDS RECEIVED.

I didn't see in the information that the hotel has no elevator & no rooms on the ground floor. Two of our friends ended up staying at another hotel because the stairs were so difficult & no one there to help with their luggage (our uber driver helped with our luggage). The room rates are high, due to their great location, but there are many hotels within a short walking distance that have larger comfy rooms and breakfast included.

The location No elevator. Small room

The hotel was in the historical center, so it was easy to access restaurants. The room was clean, but a bit small. The staff were very nice. It was a good value.
