Leonis Restaurant & Rooms

Location was excellent. Room was spotless. Blankets should have been put on the bed. Also would be better to have breakfast included…

The shower had no door so water went everywhere

The Leonis is really as the name suggests; a restaurant, with some rooms to rent above. The restaurant serves excellent, although slightly expensive, food. The location is quite good for exploring the old city. As in many places in Croatia, it does require the ability to navigate stairs. The service was limited compared to other places we stayed in Croatia (the staff was dividing duties between the restaurant and the hotel section). Also, the room was a little louder than others, again because of the presence of the restaurant downstairs.

It was very convenient due to its central location, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. It was quite noisy late at night, which could be disruptive if you're looking for a quiet and restful stay.

The location within the palace walls made it a great location to be able to rest between our tours of Split. None

Restaurant was excellent…

The location was great They mark it as a four star hotel themselves, but it is not at all that level. We didn't see any reception person at any time, housekeeping opened door without knocking, night guard was not informed about our late arrival, while that was announced and confirmed. No elevator while high floor rooms. All not big issues for us, but don't lie and mark it as four star place.

The restaurant staff were inattentive. Hotel staff were fabulous

The staff are super friendly, they offered a cake and a birthday card for my friend which happens to have birthday during our stay. They are very attentive, super professional, sweet and friendly and so respectful. I totally recommend. Our stay was wonderful and everything went great and beyond our expectations! Not to mention the breathtaking room view! We got a room on the last floor and the view from the windows on the old town of Split is just waw…

Location was beyond great, like I was and to go and come back so easily and change clothes!! It was right in old part of the city. Room was ok but a bit cold and it was boring, other than that everything was perfect. The staff was a bit not friendly and talking so rarely. But overall I was so happy to choose this place.

Really nice room, super spacious for the price. Lots of naturals light. Perfect location, it would be too loud if the hotel was more in the center. Amazing restaurant. I would appreciate a locker for the door, something to make sure the door is closed from the inside. Something extra than the magnetic card which allows to open the door from the outside. Also a bin in the room would be nice, like a desk bin, so we don't have to put everything in the bathroom bin.

We were welcomed very warm and nice. The shower was clean. But there were a lot of limescale deposits.

Excellent location! Flexible staff when it came to luggage storage, etc. The holder to the shower head was broken. It could be easily fixed/replaced. The rooms are not well isolated for sound, so you’ll hear the noise from the restaurant quite well. The room was a bit damp, I did not see any ventilation apart from in the bathroom.

Location is outstanding within the walls of the Old Palace. Attractive hotel with friendly staff, good food and service.
