Location is just so lovely. Outlook from the pier house is amazing and all staff are more than happy to help. Minor issue was the coffee machine not working in our room and no replacement available. But with that we was offered free coffee at the bar

There was one, maybe 20 step staircase from the pub/entryway to the rooms and a few steps within the guest floor halls. But there were railings to make it manageable.

Excellent location, friendly staff at check in showing you around each well furnished room to a very high standard, brilliant food for an evening meal with a great variety, good portion size well priced alongside brilliant local beers from St Austell brewery and then finishing off with a top notch breakfast offering, very much so recommended to anyone!!

The staff was absolutely amazing!! They all went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The hotel was updated and in excellent condition but it is the staff that makes this property so exceptional. I cannot praise them enough! Nothing

The location is excellent and there are five or six restaurants or pubs within a 2 minute walk. A decent number of small shops to browse around There is a small beach in Charlestown, plus more within a (hilly) walk along the coastal path. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. Hotel and room all very clean, the room was newly refurbished and the bathroom was excellent. When we arrived they warned us that the "small double" rooms are quite snug for two people for a longer stay. This is partly because the beds are hemmed in against the wall with another wall at the foot of the bed, so you have to clamber on and off one side. We did find the room to be too small for comfort. Older people would have real problems climbing on and off the bed. If we returned we would book a full size room despite the extra cost. Also our room was only cleaned 2 days out of 4, so we had to go hunting for toilet roll.
