We were in The Joanna room which was in a private area of the facility. We loved this because it was quiet. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious.

Staff absolutely wonderful - I got a tour of the building and explaination of facilities on check in. The room was compact but had a coffee machine, mini fridge with fresh milk and water, and the bed was very comfortable - I'd actually really like to know what the duvet was so I can get one for at home! Lovely quiet location and a short walk from Charlestown. I was staying on my own for business but I wish I'd been with my husband as this would have been a perfect place for a romantic retreat. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel and was a lovely end to the stay. My only wish was that there would have been dinner - I stayed midweek so no dinner service but as I was on my own I didn't really want to go and eat out and ended up just getting some light bites from the local tesco. As I was in a single room there wasn't a door on the en-suite bathroom which I would have preferred just for comfort. Despite there being a smart TV I couldn't get Netflix working, but I wouldn't have needed any of the above if I wasn't staying alone!

We had booked an afternoontea but when we arrived were told they had no record of the reserv ation and they didn't have enough scones etc to give us tea. We had one teaspoon between us in the room, which is a minor detail but i drink tea and my husband drinks coffee, so I had to go to the bathroom to wash the spoon every time we made a drink!

Super clean and the staff are super attentive. It's small enough to feel intimate but large enough to feel that any request could be accommodated. The blend of country home and whimsical decor added to the casual professionalism of the place. Loved it! I live in a hot country and found the super-soft, luxurious down comforters a bit stifling in the middle of the night. First world problems, right?

Pool was small but clean and useful for a quick dip The ensuite bathroom was cheap and in complete contrast to the rest of the accommodation.

Lovely quiet location with great facilities House was slightly difficult to navigate around at first

Everything, it is our second stay and we will definitely be back again. A truly special place, the attention to detail, food, comfort and welcome fabulous as before. We also had a treatment in the spa with the lovely Emma this time - blissful. Thank you all at Boscundle Manor.

The decor and feel of the manor was perfect. Very tastefully and sympathetically done. The pool was a great bonus too.

Quiet setting, stylish interior and friendly hosts. No negatives

The Breakfast was extremely good so much trouble was taken. Very quite and peaceful place to stay
-
Lovely old manor house - nice features Great location Very spacious clean room Cost of breakfast was high and to my mind should have been included in the rate paid for the room. While the pool was nice the pool area could have been made more comfortable / attractive

Breakfast was average and very expensive, was served in the conservatory, rather cold at this time of year. Dinner menu did not have much of an option for veggies and no fish, again expensive.
