Overall, it was a good experience. The Front Desk people were very efficient and helpful. The only negative was regarding housekeeping. I called down twice to ask for extra pillows and they said they would bring them, but they did not.. Alao, prior to them, cleaning the room, I requested extra towels and a couple more of the makeup remover wipes that they provide, but only the towels were delivered.

Convenient to the hospital None

We were treated well and room was clean. Location to hospital was excellent.

The rooms a/c was sooo loud, it sounded like there was an entire HVAC in my room. This happened at 0300, and they said they would come by to look at it but never came, so I called an hour later and they apologized. At this point my night was completely ruined and I had maybe 3 hours of sleep

The breakfast was intercontinental, which made sense If the breakfast or lunch had a bit of Nigerian delicacy

Always a good place to stay when we have a trip to the doctor at Barnes Jewish or WashU

The floor of my room was wet, they could not accommodate me with a different room. Paint in the bathroom was peeling. The front lobby and breakfast area was very unappealing. The front desk staff were not very helpful. I stayed there because of the close proximity to the hospitals. I assume this is the only reason this hotel stays in business.

They had a fiasco which was very poorly planned when they did some maintenance on the door locks which locked everyone out of their room for most the day. I understand that issues occur but this was very poorly handled with no contingency plan in place. They charge very high rates for an old run down building that is in need of repair. In addition, there is no free WiFi unless you sign up for their rewards program, which is a pretty petty thing to do. And no free breakfast of any kind. Again, for 200 bucks a night they could give at least some kind of amenities. The only reason we stayed there was because we had a family member in the hospital, and it is very convenient for that purpose. But if I had to do it over again I would get a different hotel and just drive back and forth.

Clean, nice staff, bed was comfortable, complimentary water bottles

Unfortunately when we arrived and checked in, our room was still actively being cleaned. The staff member apologized but told us she didn’t know when she’d be done - we had somewhere to be and unfortunately didn’t have the time to spare waiting around, especially given we paid to check in at that time. The staff at the front desk did move our room and was very apologetic. The metal grate over the air vent on the wall was falling off though.

Passable

Bathroom was very worn and the bath tub was rusty and in terrible need of new caulk and grout. Perfect location and very convenient parking. All things considered it was good value but the hotel is in bad need of an update.

The room I stayed in air conditioning was COLD!!! Fortunately I was able to adjust the thermostat which helped alot. I was disappointed that there was no extra blanket in the closet but being able to adjust the temperature made it OK.

Amenities were poor, no water in room, no coffee. Handicapped shower, we didn’t want or need.

Mice. The door to our room was a bit off the hinges. The hotel seemed dated for its star rating.

Location attached to hospital, access to restaurant, quiet and comfortable
