Not only was the location conveniently located to the concert venue, but the staff was incredibly hospitable. I will definitely stay again.

The lady in the front desk had an attitude. Like me, my brother and his lady were poor. Very short with the conversations with here. The custodian man was way more helpful than her.

good walking distance to anything downtown. Rooms were clean

Great experience! Highly recommend.

Had a great stay at the Missouri Athletic Club. The interior lobby is gorgeous, art and wood work all around. Full bar and nice breakfast set up. The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice carpets in the room, large enough bathroom for the age of the building and very comfortable beds. For the price this was a steal, especially location wise. The staff was very polite and friendly, both at the check in desk and lobby attendants. When back in St. Louis I would stay here again and again. For accessibility the Missouri Athletic Club us also centrally located for Baseball games at Busch stadium, the Gateway Arch National Park, restaurants, bars and the Arena, great place.

Exceptional

As an old hotel, the room had some quirks, like a step up to the bathroom and doors that were locked that may have led to connecting room. A few steps up to the lobby to load in wasn't difficult, but might be difficult for some people. There were also steps from the entrance used to access the garage. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Five stars!
-
Rooms are extremely small. Not kid friendly. Hats can’t be worn in the building. Seems like members only opened reservations to the public bc they can’t support it alone.
-
It’s a beautiful hotel, but not meant for the casual traveler. There were no amenities that were helpful to us such as breakfast bar or coffee in the morning. It felt like we were not exactly wanted there, but yet they weee open for reservations to anyone on Expedia. If you are opening your fires yo people who are not club members, it would be good to seem more welcoming. And I had a cold shower one morning.

Staff was courteous and knowledgeable

This is a beautiful but gently aged property with basic rooms close to the downtown. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. There is covered parking nearby for a fee. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was exactly as everyone else has described it. It’s a beautiful old building! We didn’t spend any time there other than sleeping. For that purpose, it was satisfactory.
