Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was fairly comfortable for being at a hotel. Staff was helpful and greeted me when I came back. I would recommend this in the future.

Dryer was broke but staff was very helpful and let us use their big dryer. Was not super impressed with breakfast, not much selection and sausage link on 2 days was under cooked.

All categories excellent except for the parking lot. Needs to be redone. Very excellent staff.

On the good side, staff were helpful, the breakfast service was decent and the food fresh.

The staff were wonderful. It was convenient to everything. Room was spacious and clean. I liked the breakfasts and the warm chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon.

Noisy…kids running up and down hallway screaming. Complaining did nothing. Breakfast horrrible: ran out of items with no replacing Horrible location Called 4 times for towels…nothing I’m asking for a full credit.

Staff were excellent! Front desk Sam and the girl checking us in June 18th. Freddy in breakfast area. The pull out sofa bed and the king bed weren’t comfortable. Had some issues with toilet but they resolved it. Rates went from 139- 239 depending on nite.

We stayed 4 night, asked for room service every day but never got done. Pool is smaller than normal and water is cold, spa was not working.

Exceptional

Our room was very, very humid. The carpet was odorous and smelled like well worn shoes. We ran the AC and continuous fan hoping to cut the humidity but it did not help. Mind you, it was a nice weekend in MN with low humidity. I ended up buying Febrez to help with the odor of the room during our sta and it minimally helped. I needed to was all of our belongings when we returned home. I am not by any means saying all rooms were this way, but ours was. I would stay again but I’d request to on a different floor away from pool maybe, idk.

If you want to Park n Fly, you CANNOT book through 3rd party (like this site). The staff will not allow a separate charge, and insist that you must cancel/rebook with them to pay to park there.

I booked at the Fairfield for 2 queen beds. When I got there, they said they didn't have a room with 2 beds, they were overbooked! They offered me a room with a king and a cot and/or a sofabed. I had 4 adults. I said that was not acceptable. They called next door to Courtyard. Courtyard said they had a room with 2 beds. This was almost midnight. So we went to Courtyard. They gave me key and when we went to the room IT HAD ONE BED! The lady was snippy and said FAIRFIELD DID NOT INFORM HER THAT WE NEEDED 2 BEDS. RIDICULOUS, THAT WAS WHAT THE CALL WAS ABOUT. She gives me another room key to go to a different room. Crazy since my family already started pulling out the sofabed and pulling out the linens of the previous room. Like why not give us 2 rooms since the first one was already messed up? Why didn't Fairfield offer 2 rooms instead of having us move hotels? Whole thing was a joke. And we got less than 4 hours of sleep since we had an early flight.
