Conveniently located close to town. Great views across to other islands Some of the rooms were up many flights of stairs and there are no lifts

Stayed a couple of times and would return again. The staff are all so kind and friendly. Breakfast is fantastic, definitely pay the extra. Rooms over the pool - woken by music being turned on at 7am. Also stayed in a twin - the single beds are tiny.

The main hotel staff were helpful. The fridge ,and the heating were noisy. Some staff in the restaurant were rude, until I explained I was a resident . The room was not the best ,although it was a king room.

A very fine establishment. The hotel has remarkably attractive public sitting rooms on the ground floor and a truly lovely indoor pool. The reception staff were outstandingly helpful and flexible, making a huge difference to check-in and checkout arrangements. And the attached restaurant/bar is very good. Our room was more average than the beautiful public facilities suggest. Bear in mind it’s a fifteen minute quite steep uphill walk from the center of St Peter Port.

Lovely place. Location up the hill and just out of town but we like it that way. 15 minute walk into town. Nice and quiet. Extremely enjoyable. Hotel was great. Staff very helpful. They even provided a little bottle of bubbles on ice with some strawberries as the trip was for my wife's 60th. They have a nice indoor pool and health suite. Also, the restaurant attached to the property (Copenhagen) had a nice atmosphere. Good for a drink and/or dinner/bar meal. Nothing really. My only disappointment was that the hotel normally provides a free 3 hour mini-bus tour of the island on a Tuesday and Thursday. It was one of the reasons that I booked. However, just my luck, on the Thursday that we were there, the tour didn't run as I think the vehicle was being serviced. We did book another tour externally of the island for £50 which was very good. It did not detract from the overall experience of our 3 days on the island and in the hotel which was basically great.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the location was convenient. In room facilities were good. It’s just a bit tired around the edges. The bathrooms had some mould and the carpet was stained. The courtyard could do with a jet wash.

Breakfast was first class, good service and nice choice. Dinner was excellent - all 3 of my selections were "specials" and all rated 10/10. No dislikes or improvements required.

The room was comfortable with a large bed and good bathroom facilities. TV reception was good and tea and coffee making facilities were excellent. The on site restaurant and standard of the food was superb as were all staff. Swimming and jacuzzi were excellent. Beautiful courtyard with a fish pond. It was perhaps unfortunate that we were staying while some renovation work to the old house that forms the main part of the hotel was going on. This meant a long diversion to the room up and down stairs.

Excellent choice although we didn’t have cooked breakfasts. Great friendly staff and beautiful views Nothing

Good location, very helpful staff. Spacious rooms, too many stairs to room 23 in the attic ! Shame all the lounge facilities were out of use.as being renovated. Copenhagen bar very nice.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast excellent, cooked to order. Lovely to have the spa facilities that were kept very clean. I stayed in a single room that was comfortable and well equipped but air conditioning was noisy so turned this off

Restaurant and food were excellent. Rooms were very clean and presentable. Location is ideal for local attractions. Although it is a wonderful hotel, it is a bit outdated and in need of modernisation.
