You need to experience for yourself. It's that great. 40 year returning customer. Just wonderful place. Make sure you put a needed prayer request in the chapel box.

The hotel room was underwhelming for what we paid for 1 night($200). The beds were comfortable, but the room was small. In addition, we had to pay for breakfast.

There was nothing about the day that I did not like when staff friendlly. It I was the best stay. Thank you we will rebook again♥️♥️♥️

We were on the river. Good walkway and dock. Clean room

Grounds were beautiful. Shower needed a deep clean. There was mold on some wall tiles. We reported it when checking out.

The grounds of this place is beautiful! An amazing sunset so peaceful. The inside is fine it’s a classic basic slightly dated hotel room but clean and nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Love the location and the fact that it is out of the hustle and bustle of the island. The price is decent, and the people are extremely friendly. This is the 2nd year I stayed there. The first year was awesome, but the following year was a bit terrible. The bed was just awful, but if you enjoy sleeping on top of springs, then you may enjoy it. Really, the only bad thing was the bed. The room had 2 queens that were back breaking. Im not sure if I will go back again next year.

If you are looking to stay on St. Simon's Island do not book your stay at Epworth by The Sea. The staff was not friendly or accommodating at all. When we arrived to the property. We were left in the dark about the properties'' amenities unless we asked. The iron in the room was broken, there are spider nests and cob webs all over the place inside and outside. My biggest complaint however, is that our first morning we left the "maid service please" signage outside on the door handle that was provided by the hotel. We left that morning to go to the beach and came back in the evening to find our room exactly how we left it. There was no turn down service, trash was still full and we left our used towels on the floor to be collected, and they were not. When we called the front desk to request housekeeping the woman at the front desk was rude and informed us that we were supposed to let them know we wanted someone to come to our room. It took over 30 mins to get new towels. Upon checking out, there were 2 employees at the front desk, no greeting, no smile did not even ask how our stay was. I told the young lady we were checking out, she put her hand out to get the key cards and barely said a word to us. the staff is poorly trained on customer service and we will never stay here again. the property grounds are beautiful and the rooms are decent but we wont be returning due to the poor accommodations. They really need to do better.

The beds are a bit hard and it was clean but it could've been a little bit cleaner in the bathroom.

N/A There was no information regarding the fact that this property is in the middle of/ involved with the Methodist Church. The hotel is in the middle of a commune, and is a part of a church retreat space that was not explicitly stated anywhere on the booking site. Bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever been in, felt like it was a bunch of cardboards stacked ontop of one another and stuffed into a fitted sheet.

Clean room and the view, i didnt like that there was no coffee pot in the room, for coffee or tea.
-
Stunning views and property. The grounds are very peaceful and too many photo Opportunities to count. Nothing I can think of.
-
Location, views, overall property grounds. The bathroom had rust on the ceiling with some of it falling on the shower.

Our stay wasn’t very long but The property itself was beautiful and at a beautiful location. The room was comfortable and clean. We arrived late in the evening, and late check-in went smoothly and quickly. The room was dated and smelled slightly musty but nothing too bad
