The hospitality of the manager was excellent, The honesty bar was very convenient and the breakfast was of a very high standard My room was closest to the main entrance and rather noisy due to another customer arriving home at 1am next time i will request a room at the back

The guest house has a lovely atmosphere with cute decorations and a very friendly owner and staff. It’s located within a short walking distance to everything in Stellenbosch, which made getting around very easy. Sound carries very easily between rooms, so we could hear other guests getting up early in the morning. Additionally, the breakfast was quite limited — mainly toast, and the fruit wasn’t always fresh. A more varied and higher-quality breakfast would be a big improvement.

The hotel is quaint and serene. The rooms have a character which you get to share during your stay. Perfect for a wine tasting trip with a great personalized breakfast every morning. However, I was travelling for work and found the place equally welcoming. Bernese is a delightful host who takes good care of her guests
