The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the concierge are very friendly, they even have umbrellas in case of rain and are there to assist with almost everything. Their responses were prompt even later on, when I needed my long-lost invoice. They are very professional. Breakfast choices are diverse, and there is a coffee machine in the room should you need one. You are within walking distance from the tourist center and attractions but it is a good solid walk. It can be a bit noisy with the outside traffic at hours, but it is not a significant bother. The elevator is a bit tiny so be careful if you have bigger luggage.

Location & hotel staff Sound insulation in the room was poor, and noise from the neighboring room was disruptive. The hotel staff responded helpfully by contacting the guests next door, which resolved the issue for the night. However, the same problem occurred again the following evening.

The stay was great, friendly staff and nice room nothing

Lovely staff and great location right next to Strasbourg center. Breakfast was okay. The rooms are small and so dark, that they give a really bad vibes. The room wasn’t perfectly clean, from what I could see in the darkness. Overall it felt more like a 3 star stay.

I forgot my waist bag with the passports and all my money and they called me and told me that I left it in the room Might have extra variety for the breakfast

It’s a little bit old , poor lighting & too expensive comparing to its regular price in normal days. In fact we stayed during the “marche de Noel” period, in the deluxe room .the price of 600€ per night for two persons, was unreasonable. But if you choose another time to stay in , paying the regular price , it will be logical..

The hotel was lovely. It was a few blocks from both the Christmas Market (reason for my stay) and a tram stop to the train station. I loved the big "HOTEL" sign off the front. The lobby was tastefully decorated, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating - I arrived early so they stored my luggage for me while I went sight-seeing. The elevator was tiny - enough room for 1 person and their luggage, but that wasn't an issue for me. I was on the top floor and LOVED how the dormer window opened down - which was necessary since the room was overly warm and the temperature controls didn't seem to work to turn off the heat. Whatever, it was fine. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was small but perfectly arranged to make use of space. Also LOVED the heated towel warmer- what a treat!!! There was a minibar and snacks that I didn't take advantage of, but I did end up eating breakfast there - the typical buffet, perfect for my basic needs. Overall, it was truly a lovely stay, I would definitely recommend and happily stay there again. Couldn't turn off the heat for some reason... but the dormer window opened so it was fine.

The breakfast area is a bit too small and gets very crowded
-
Nice location The room too small, i could barely walk around my bed due to the fridge at the left end corner.
-
Convenient to both town and the Hôpital Civil All good

Location was ok Not used to being charged for water and coffee Poorly lit room No storage for clothes

Staff was very nice. Helped immediately and were always present. Parking was way too tight, even for my smaller-sized vehicle. The downhill slope to the garage is dangerous for cars — even if yours isn’t lower than average. Ours hit the ground despite driving extremely slowly. There’s also no room to turn your wheels, so you have only one possible position to drive down. The nearby public parking is actually €2 cheaper than the hotel’s, so I would recommend using that instead. Secondly, our room had only two working sockets in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, which made it impossible to charge multiple devices at the same time.

Very disappointing service. On my first night, after washing my hair, I found that the hairdryer in the room was not working. I called the front desk, but the staff told me she didn’t have the authority to get another one. I explained that my hair was wet, did she expect me to just leave it like that? She didn’t even apologize and only said that they would replace it the next day when the housekeeping staff came to work. I’ve never heard of a hotel front desk that can’t provide a working hairdryer or replace one for a guest. Truly unacceptable service.

Upon check-in, I was asked to let them write down my card details so they could charge me for drinks I'd used or for any damage to the room. I asked again if they wanted to freeze the deposit on my card using the terminal, but no, they wanted the card details. This is the first time I've encountered such a requirement. Of course, I refused. It's good that I managed to negotiate a cash deposit. The room itself was very cramped, definitely not worth the 100 euros I paid for it.
