Hotel Graffalgar

I’m a strong supporter of creative people, artistic ideas, and places that encourage creativity, so I was very happy to choose this hotel and support its creative spirit. I truly enjoyed my stay, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a warm sense of community that I really appreciated. The receptionnists were very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent, very close to the railway station and within easy reach of the city center. I would definitely stay here again!

Location was near to main attractions, Covered parking place was near to the hotel, at 1 minute walking.

THis was an emergency stop and a last minute booking, I actually booked it from the app on the train when I realised I wasn't going to make it to Lille. It worked out really well. Strasbourg is beautiful, this hotel is very near the railway station, it was incredible value for money, and I found the decor charming. Also, this is fully accessible, one step in but there's a ramp with a button, and no steps inside.And the beautiful part of the city is just steps away. If it is super hot, consider paying extra elsewhere for air-conditioning. There was a fan and ice packs, and it was OK, but it wouldn't have been if it had been hotter.

Great location, friendly staff, quirky art hotel.

The location was good and we liked the design of the hotel. It was good for our one night stay. Our car was parked in a garage down the street provided by the hotel for 18€ for the night.

Location, clean, comfortable and nice staff. The bar below was quite loud until late.

I moved to this hotel after finding the lift wasn't working at the appartment I'd booked. Everything thing went smoothly here. They have a special ramp that they put out and left in place during my stay, helpful staff, luggage storage, a good sized lift plus I was given a very comfortable room with an accessible bathroom.

Location and room was clean! AC turned off periodically. Not fun having to get up to turn it back on during this heat wave.

It was in a good location for our needs. It was a display of local artists works, which is fine and was expected. However, some of the art also made an unnecessary political statement for a hotel to have. Our rooms were burning hot and there was no ventilation at all. The rooms were not very clean. There were cooling fans inside the rooms that you could put ice packs in to alleviate the heat, but none of the ice packs were frozen. We went down to check on getting ice packs in the middle of the night and they were all sitting on top of the freezer instead of in it, so they were not helpful. We got no sleep. Couldn't wait to get out of the hellish heat and disturbing surroundings. It made a person feel as though squatting in a subway station or under a bridge. Booking.com will never again get my business. It seems there is a business model that does not favor the users. We moved out after the first night and I suspect we won't get the second night cost refunded due to their policies. We went down the street to the Best Western plus and for the same cost, had an amazing stay. In short, I would not recommend Hotel Graffalgar if you like a value for your money and enjoy being able to sleep during your stay there.
