Barceló Royal Beach – All Inclusive

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was great and close to everything. We also enjoyed the nice pool and bar area, which featured a pretty wide selection of drinks on the all-inclusive menu. The onsite massage center was perfectly fine too. Most of the staff don't speak English and avoid interacting with guests. The towel policy is ridiculous: you can only pick them up during limited morning hours, you can't replace a dirty towel, and the staff gets very impatient and annoyed if you ask outside those specific hours. While the food is varied, it isn't very tasty, and they don't accommodate dietary needs like kosher, vegetarian, or gluten-free. Also, no food is available after 9:00 PM, which defeats the purpose of "all-inclusive." Lastly, both the pools and the jacuzzi were freezing cold.

The rooms are big, bathroom as well. Cleaning service can be improved. Decent food. Pools were ok, although closing at 6PM which we found strange. No water in the rooms and only water available was at dispenser in plastic cups, in theory they wouldn't allow you to fill your own bottles, cannot imagine why. The drinks offered were bad quality, the food was only decent. The entertainment is very bad, although the young team of entertainers were trying their best...the evening atmosphere was sad overall. Looks like they offer all inclusive but they want to capitalize on everything, including buying water. We had a birthday one day and we asked in the morning for a piece of cake to put a candle on it and sing Happy Birthday so they went on an asked almost 70 euros for a full cake, putting us in the spot, saying that they ordered the cake for us (!!) That was a first time ever something like this happened to us in a hotel.

Very good food, we are picky but here there was always something that we could chose from the all inclusive menu. Room was very spacious. Underground parking is very nice also.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barceló Royal Beach. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the all-inclusive service was excellent. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the location is perfect—very close to the beach and main attractions. THE BREAKFAST ? I LIKED EVERYTHING 10/10

Our stay at Barceló Royal Beach was truly exceptional. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and high-quality service. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, the staff was professional, attentive, and always welcoming. The culinary experience was outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious dishes. The pool area and surroundings create a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere, while the location is ideal, just steps away from the beach. /

Lots of choices for food, really tasty and good stuff there. The pool and the pool bar are also great and all the staff is super nice and friendly. Rooms are big and nicely decorated, great views and amazing hotel in general! We're going to come back here and highly recommend it!! Nothing, everything was more than perfect.

Amazing resort, very big rooms and very welcoming staff, especially the managers, Mr. Todor Georgiev and Mr. Dimitar Stamenov, location very close to the beach and the city centre, diversified restaurant with a high variety of options and high quality food for each meal. Great entertainment during the day, as well as during the night, especially Lubo who almost always carried the show! The bar workers, Tanya and Halil, were also remarkably skilled, amazing and patient. Excellent overall facilities, with spa, gym, many pools, indoors and outdoors and great entertainment. Everything you need for the best vacantion. As a big fan of Bulgarian seaside, I will definitely come back here the next years!

Everything was very good. We were upgraded to an apartment which was enormous and had pool / sea views. The staff were all very attentive. The service in the restaurant was very good. The choice of food was incredible for lunch, dinner and breakfast. No negatives at all about the hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much. However, the car park was a complete mystery for us. We went down the lift to minus 1 and were indeed in the car park. But it was big and, I think on two floors. It was hard to know which side of the building we were on. We were ages looking for our car. They need numbers or letters or something to help you know where you are. I very much doubt that we were the first to wander around there looking for our car. Or the last.

Everything was exceptional, more than we expect. We will come here next year back again with more friends. Thank you Barcelo!

The staff were wonderful, particularly Todor in Customer Services who made my birthday celebration there feel extra special. Halil at the Lobby Bar and Georgie at the Pool Bar were also excellent and went out of their way to ensure that service was swift, friendly, and personal in taking time to learn how you each preferred your drinks etc. The balcony from the lobby bar is a lovely spot for a morning coffee. The food was great, with lots of choice and variety. Bars are in the restaurants so if you want a glass of wine with your meal it's easy. Snanks at the bar looked good too, but we were always too full to try them, but did enjoy the included ice lollies. Our room was lovely too with plenty of space and a well-sized balcony. The general areas were always clean and tidy. The main pool is great fun, with plenty of sunbeds and generally people removed their towels when heading to lunch or off site so others could freely use them, knowing that when they returned, other beds would be free again. The smaller (green) pool was our fave spot as it was quieter, again with plenty of sunbeds. The Animation team seemed good fun, although we didn't partake, they always had a fan group of kids in tow ready and waiting for the next game and activity. Night time entertainment was good too, there was a dance act on one evening and they were very good. Finding the sauna & stream room was tricky - you need to go through the changing rooms.

Big room, big pools , good meals ! I had to pay to park the car , a lot, stuff not so friendly, at the restaurants you had to wait for the waiters forewer to pick-up up the plates, no sodas no water în the room, no sunbeds and no umbrellas at the beach, although on Booking was specified: beach umbrellas !

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The food was tasty with plenty of variety. A very pleasant stay — I would happily return and recommend it to others. -

Come and see by yourself. The room, the animation team, the food is delicioase and safe for everybody. Enjoy your holiday and do not look to find another hotel because you will defenitely make a mistake.

Clean rooms, great restaurants and pool. Staff was very kind and friendly.

The cleaning in the room! The maid did a very superficial job , she must work in a 1 star hotel , just packing the same used towels and arranging the duvet on the bed. When I asked why she didn't change the towels and linen, she ironically told me that she don't have I had to call the reception to solve this problem. Also, the soaps were only some shells left, which she replaced after 3 days, also after my complaint. A lot of dust on the furniture and she also didn't wash the floor. The glasses and ashtray were unclean the whole stay. This is unacceptable in a 5-star hotel. The all-inclusive drinks were diluted and of poor quality.

the pool The service was terrible. We experienced a power outage, and during that time, none of the staff had any answers or options for us to access our room. We had a baby who needed a diaper change, but it took over 4 hours to get the door to our room opened (until 11:30 p.m.). After that, we were given another room without linens or air conditioning. The only response we kept getting was, "Please speak with the manager in the morning." Additionally, our flight was canceled, and we wanted to stay for three more nights at the hotel (we made this request at 7:00 p.m.), but we received the same answer: "Please wait for the manager in the morning." As a result, we decided to book a different hotel (4 stars), where we paid significantly less and received much better service. One more disappointing thing was the poor quality of the free Wi-Fi.
