Hotel Riva offers quick and easy access to all attractions in Sunny Beach Resort. It is located about 492 ft from the beach and 328 ft from the central pedestrian promenade. Burgas Airport is 19 mi away. Guests can enjoy a cozy restaurant with a large garden, a snack bar, a lobby bar, and an outdoor pool bar, as well as two guarded car parks. The complex has three outdoor pools and one children's pool with a slide. The rooms have a balcony with a fabulous view of the pool or the garden, air conditioning, satellite TV, a mini-bar, WI-FI, a telephone, and a private bathroom. For the youngest guests of the hotel, there is a playground and entertainment. Guests of the Riva Hotel can take advantage of an individual safe at the reception, high-speed free internet throughout the entire complex, currency exchange, etc. For our guests, this is the favorite part of Sunny Beach, according to independent reviews. Couples love the location - they rate it 8.3 for a trip for two.

There were only a few main dishes, not much to choose from.

Excellent location overall — the hotel is on the main street of Sunny Beach, with a supermarket nearby and plenty of shops and cafés around. The beach is really no more than a 10-minute walk away, and there is also a children’s amusement area with rides and carousels just 5 minutes away. The room was very pleasant: spacious, with a balcony and a nice view of the mountain. The bathroom was large and comfortable, equipped with everything necessary, and had plenty of hooks for towels and personal items. The shower was also very convenient. The mattresses were soft and comfortable, the bed linen was nice, and there were extra pillows and blankets. There was also a kettle (although we did not use it) and a small selection of tea and coffee. The furniture was comfortable, and the room had mirrors. The room was cleaned regularly, and the towels were changed regularly as well. One day there was no water, but it was not the hotel’s fault, and they kindly brought a large bottle of drinking water to our room. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were polite. Overall, we were very satisfied and would rate everything highly. There was very little that we did not like. The garden could use more care, as it was clear that the plants were not getting enough attention — even the palm trees had dry and yellow leaves. Of course, when many guests arrive, the pool area becomes quite crowded and noisy. The sound insulation is also not very good. Thanks to the staff for strictly enforcing the quiet hours, otherwise it would have been difficult to fall asleep, as the neighbors could be heard quite clearly. The TV in our room did not work well, with interference and poor sound quality. As for the restaurant, the food was of course very fresh, but not particularly tasty and, unfortunately, not very Bulgarian — there were not many traditional Bulgarian dishes. However, it was definitely healthy food, with plenty of fresh and baked vegetables, and there was still a reasonable choice.
