Location was superb, right at the center of the city. Very close to Tunjungan Plaza Mall, which is the biggest mall in Surabaya. Lots of activities around the hotel. Many restos and cafes in the surrounding area. Many options to go around the city center area, even in walking distance. The hotel architect and signature vintage style is a big win. Food and beverages in the hotel resto is affordable. The window view was blocked by neighboring building, but i guess given the location is inevitable. The AC unit seems a bit out-of-date, but still working properly.

The location is really close to the heart of Surabaya, the ambience is really nice. We can see city and kampung vibe at the same time. We can also find souvenir near the hotel.

Old and shabby , shower fitting was broken, room smelt like b.o - the sheets and pillows didn’t feel clean and the aircon was struggling to work

Location. There are lots resto and also mall in walking distance. Wifi is good. You get everything hotel standard in the room Tunjungan street can be very super because everything in walking distance. But also can be very worst if you stay there on Nov 10 or the local government held an event. This street will be close for cars and public transport. The hotel staff is also can’t explain clearly about how to get there to us who are not familiar with Surabaya

Location and friendly and helpful staffs. Very dark ambience. It's meant to be a heritage kind of style but failed terribly in lighting and cleanness, makes the hotel look depressing. And for the room: dirty floor, stained chair, dirty wall with old coffee/tea drips, dirty curtain. The bathroom has a good size but the sink was leaking. Towels were raged and stained. AC was hot. The lighting in the room is dimmed and limited. One of the bedside lamp had no adapter and let it like for God knows how long. I asked an adapter and the staff was helpful to get one. But when finally the lamp work, I could see the table where the lamp on top was so dusty. The bed-head board was dusty as well. One of the bed leg was broken so the bad corner was sunk. The technician fixed the bed but when left the room with with debris from the repair work. On top the floor in general was very dirty with soil, blackened foot prints, hairs, under bed dust... I had to call a cleaner, he came with only a broom. I had to asked him to bring a mop as well because the floor was obviously dirty. It could be a good place to stay with much improved maintenance. The staffs were friendly, helpful, and worked hard. With this good human resources, a better management and organization, I am sure this hotel could be a good place to stay.

Good location. Value for money. Room was generally decent and comfortable. Room could have been cleaner and the Would be better if there were more facilities in the hotel.

It was possible to change the room. The international food was not given (just jam and bread?!?). Only Indonesia food without explanations or names… The AC sounded loud the whole night long and it strongly smelled like smoke,at least the possibility to open the window should be offered.
