old school hospitality. historic building. they left a cute breakfast at my window. room was very basic but thats more comparing it to higher expectations.

The feel of the place is amazing, old style colonial Dutch in an absolutely fantastic location. The accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. Great staff and close to lots of good food options and cool coffee shops. This is not a western style hotel, it is Indonesian, but clean and very welcoming.

Nice big room. Location near busy night street and big malls. All windows have fly screens. Noise. Mosques start very early. Street food market out front would be quiet except for one stall who plays a music jingle really loud for hours on end but usually finishes about 1030pm. Wifi cuts in and out but i was upstairs at the back, might be better closer

Very atmospheric colonial hotel, I like it. I’ve stayed here before, but this time could only get a fan room. This room was very hot, extremely noisy after 5 AM, and the bed was a narrow cot.

Only spent one night but it was great! Great value, great location, pleasant staff, large clean room with AC. We didn’t have an issue with mosquitoes like others. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was fine :) A top sheet would be very welcome

Breakfast is brought in front of the room and you can take it wherever you like. Only one little towel (instead of two big ones), breakfast consisted of a boiled egg, one sweet bun and tea. Fan, not air conditioning. No soap/shampoo and no toilet paper. No blanket. Not silent (you could hear the voices and cars on the street) and we couldn't switch the light on the outside off, so the light shined in all night (curtain helped only partially).

The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is convinent. The only problem is there are a lot of of mosquitoes in my room.

The hotel is in a good location. Many shops and restaurants around.The room itself was clean, but the bathroom could be cleaned better. The breakfast is simple, but ok (coffee as an option would be nice :) The bathroom could be cleaned better. It was a bit of noise at night but still OK.
