Location was fantastic! Right near Chinatown and shopping, five minute walk from Central train station and light rail. Staff and facilities were amazing would definitely recommend anyone stay here for City 2 Surf and if they were looking for a lovely stay in the city. NA

Fantastic value for money. Great location- particularly if you are seeing a show at the Capital Theatre. One street away from the tram and close to Paddy’s market. Hotel room was beautiful and staff excellent. Would highly recommend.

I liked the renovation, the colours were beautiful. It was spacious and accessible. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Would come back just for the staff! The only thing I would highlight is the bathroom wouldn’t dry properly. Grateful for the towels but they would stay wet the entire time which could lead to mould (I didn’t see any). Also the duvet underneath the duvet cover had stains which made us feel a little uncomfortable

I liked the room size. The fridge was barely cool and the TV volume didn't exceed 15. It was so poor I resorted to watching a movie on my laptop.

Excellent location. Not far from central. Close to Chinatown / capitol theatre / restaurants. Friendly staff. We had the bambina room which is obviously small, as per the name. The vanity in the bathroom is so close to the toilet you have to sit on an angle. Otherwise everything is well laid out with the minimal space, didn’t feel cramped. Very noisy, we could clearly hear people talking on our floor. Elevator noise. Water pipes noise. Some street noise, though that was less intrusive.

The location was great; easy and quick to get to from the train station. The interior design was really thoughtful and luxurious. The bed and pillows were also really comfy. The acoustics were really poor and we could hear full conversations clearly from the room next to ours. The traffic and street noise was also really audible. Didn’t help that there was construction work happening right outside which wasn’t fault of the hotel, but would have been good if staff acknowledged this and offered breakfast, especially given the noise started at 7am on a Saturday. There was also a bit of a smell in the room like the drains could do with a bit of a purge. It also didn’t seem like the heating/cooling was working and the room was quite cold even with heating on.

Absolutely loved staying here! I booked it on a whim not really reading much about it but I'm so glad I stayed here. My room so comfy and had amazing sleep on their comfy beds with very comfy pillows. Very stylish decor but still cosy feeling. I love the coffee machine and nespresso pods and how they're refilled daily. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Great location, easy to walk around. nothing! It was perfect.
