Space Q Capsule Hotel

It was a good stay for me. The reception manager is friendly and remembers my name. The base of the bed seems to be cracked or broken where people enter and exit the capsule. This is the first time I have seen this.

there was no locks on any of the shower doors or the main bathroom door. they were also quite dirty with mold. i didn't feel very safe showering. the capsules are safe and clean. staff was kind. unfortunately i left early and found another place to stay.

I was amazed how clean the hotel was. Staffs are very friendly. Price is reasonable. Bed is comfortable

The Location near the Central Station. I hope they read and fix the below The mattress & Pillows (Too thin), The wool blanket wasnt washed! No reception at Night! A pod's alarm started ringing at 4AM which woke up the whole room! Tiny Toilets & Showers! It barely fitted me! Am only 180CM 80KG! Not Clean enough and the whole place needs a renovation The air condition in the pod is too loud! No coffee machine/ Vending coffee machine. I tried the capsules in different cities and that was the worst

Great location

The Star Trek hot dog has a great location. In Chinatown, & George Street is right on the tram line, a 10 minute ride to the harbor, opera house, & ferries to the zoo, & northern beaches Manly & Curl Curl, which have the best waves. Do the Bondi beach coastal walk to Googee beach, & the Curl Curl bush coastal path to Dee Why beach. Check out the food court at 401 Sussex Street. For the Star Trek hot dog, once there, spend the extra $10 for a larger storage unit, & ask for mattress toppers. They ordered new mattresses, but they’re not there yet. TV & kitchen on 4th floor. Ask for mattress toppers, the new mattress were not there yet February 2026

No access to towels after hours. Excessively hit and humid in the pods. Bathrooms were poor.

Privacy in capsule It was very unsocial. It smelt awful. Bathrooms were gross.

convenience, I travel thru sydney, often arriving late and leaving early so I'm just looking for an overnight bed. Location is close to main transport. bed mattress I've noticed are starting to thin under use and it can make for an uncomfortable night. If things don't improve I'll stop using this location. The toilets could use more frequent cleaning. use of foreign travelers for staff may be a benefit but not if they don't maintain standards.

Fantastic location on George Street. Roughly a 45 walk to the Opera House/Harbour Bridge. You had your own private capsule which is great for privacy whilst sleeping. Rooms for the most part were quiet. Toilet area wasn't perhaps as clean as I would have preferred but this is mainly the fault of the guests not the staff.

Nothing Shower and toilet dirty.

The location was great The property was really dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable. The usb plugs did not work for charging electronics.

The location was good. You can’t have access to the lobby before 10:30. There’s no sign, or message online thst tells you so. Me and some other guests at 8:30, were waiting outside, confused, on why we couldn’t get in (the doir was locked and the doorbell wasn’t working) and we wanted to store our luggage before check in. It’s only after a delivery man walked out that he told us that it opens at 10:30. I even tried to send a message to the hotel, and no one got back to me.

Location and general capsule experience ?‍? Cleanliness under mattress was disgusting, wished I hadn’t looked ? Wouldn’t take much to clean out all dust and rubbish with a vacuum, it should be done regularly. Bathrooms/showers uncomfortably small and awkward. No top sheet/blanket provided and had to ask twice before getting one.

Value for money. No fuzzy. Easy checkin. Bathrooms were not tidy and partition layout was akwardly hard to use.

This is either the only or second official capsule hotel in Sydney, a promising start for this style of accommodation down under. There's room for refinement, particularly with the room door, awkward toilet arrangements and the lift, which could do with some attention. That said, this is my second visit, and I'm pleased to report genuine improvements since the first time round a few years ago.

Location was super convenient if travelling by train. Bedding was clean, and capsule ventilation good. No towel offered by staff prior to check-in. I found out on arrival its available to buy a towel, but I checked in late and checked out early meaning I was not able to buy one. Shared bathroom facilities are subpar even by hostel standards.

Great location Next to China town Actually, I have stayed in many capsule hotels in Sydney, but I didn't think I would find such a terrible place. When I first entered the hotel, there was a constant headache-inducing smell that lingered in my nose. When I went upstairs, I didn't think the room and storage space would be this narrow. I couldn't even fit a 29-inch suitcase. The corner of the room was very unsafe. When I went to the bathroom, I was shocked at how narrow it was. Both the toilet and the shower room were cramped. When I found a larger bathroom, it had clear glass so that the building next door could be seen when taking a shower. I booked for 4 nights and ended up having to find a new place to move out because I really couldn't handle it. The common area is on the 4th floor with nothing at all. The refrigerator is full, the seats are inconvenient, and cooking is also inconvenient. I recommend that anyone with a large body find a new place so that they won't be cramped.

Location The mattress was too hard, causing pain, the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been, the place was poorly organized, and there was too much clutter from guests’ luggage.
