The location is a 10/10 — so convenient and easy to get to. Everything was extremely clean and the whole place was beautiful and so picturesque. The bar downstairs was perfect and such a nice spot to relax. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location, right in the center, walking distance to most of Malls places of interest. It's about a 1 km walk to most of the places. By walking you get to know the city. The hotel staff, location, comfort, and cleanliness was excellent. Big shout out to the housekeeping staff, and attention to detail, and coordination between the reception and the other departments. I was leaving at 5.45am in the morning , and needed ice, to pack my insulin around 5.30 am. Sharp at 5.30am a staff member brought the ice. I stayed at Caption by Hyatt Sydney for four nights and had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is very funky and stylish, with rooms that are well appointed and just large enough. I stayed in a queen room, which was comfortable and practical. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom supplies were excellent quality. One particularly handy feature was the filtered water available on each floor, making it easy to top up your water bottle throughout the day. The rooms were generally quiet, although if guests in an adjoining room are speaking very loudly, you can hear every word. All the staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming. I was also lucky enough to be able to check in early because a room was available, which was a lovely bonus. The location is fantastic, particularly if you're seeing a show at the Capitol Theatre. There are light rail options right outside the hotel, and Chinatown is within easy walking distance. There’s also a small café in the reception area, and umbrellas are readily available if it’s raining. I had breakfast at the hotel and was very impressed with the breakfast deal. It was fantastic value, and there was so much food that I couldn’t finish it! Overall, I highly recommend Caption by Hyatt Sydney. It’s a funky, comfortable and well-located hotel with friendly staff and some thoughtful touches that make a difference. I would definitely stay here again. If your neighbouring guests are speaking quite loudly you can hear their conversations.

Staff were very helpful and the wheelchair accessible bathroom was excellent. Very clean and pleasant room aesthetic. Not the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on... but at the same time, I slept well. Would have been nice to have more than free-to-air channels on the TV.

Location, location & the facilities were great. Pillows & bed were so comfortable. Perfect water pressure for a nice hot shower! Zero faults!

Everything. This was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. Staff were great and, facilities were exceptional. I was traveling by myself and the room was the perfect size. It would've been tight if I had another person in the room with another suitcase.
