The staff was exceptional. Never felt more comfortable in a Georgian hotel. Thank you. The breakfast menu corresponded to the opinion of other guests. Yummy! The hotel is not 9.2. - there were stains both on furniture and carpets in the room 101; - when you open the only window next to your bed the oily smell starts entering the room early in the morning. Probably due to the kitchen exhaust located next to the window; - bathroom has everything it should have (travel kits included). However, the shower glass screen seal leaks and water does not drain right away.

It was super comfortable and lovely Nothing

The breakfasts are especially noteworthy: everything was delicious, fresh, and had a good selection. The staff was polite and helpful, and the hotel atmosphere was cozy and calm. It's a great option for a trip to Tbilisi, whether it's for a few days or a longer stay. On the downside, the large bed was made up of two separate ones, so there was a gap in the middle, which wasn't very comfortable for sleeping. The air conditioner was working incomprehensibly; it was hot at night.

The room was clean. The hotel is within the walking distance to Georgian Museum of Fine Arts and other tourist sites along Rustaveli Ave, close to Rustaveli metro station. Many restaurants cafes nearby. It’s convenient. Very good breakfast and the young lady who served breakfast was very nice and helpful. The wall of the hotel room is thin, you could hear your neighbours coughing and talking. The building of the hotel is located by a narrow one way street on a hill, that location makes a taxi pick up and drop off difficult, because if the car stop for you, it stop the traffic on whole street, therefore I always asked taxi to drop me off by the metro station then walk uphill back to the hotel. After you booked hotel, the hotel will send you an information page to tell you if you have heart condition or high blood pressure the uphill hotel location might be not suited for you. I thought that was pretty funny, why could you let people know beforehand?

There is no where to stop the car in the front of the Hotel

Location 10 out of 10. The atmosphere fantastic The hospitality provided by Mary at the reception was outstanding, she gave us all the details that we asked . Breakfast was great, everyday different types of meal . Like homemade style. Anna was the lady in charge of explaining us everyday what what’s in the menu. Really friendly as well . The room was cozy and organized . I’ll definitely recommend to stay here.

Greatest and warmest welcome and hospitality All was great

The warmth and kindness of the staff treating guests as almost family; the breakfast is great; the view from high on the hill Steep hill- although really a charm didn’t work out for me as someone with knee issues. But the staff was supportive.
-
Good views, very lovely staff quite near to a lot of the attractions The location is on a slope, for most folks it shouldn’t be a major issue but if you can’t climb slopes you should watch out. To be fair the hotel will inform you before hand about it.

That’s my third time in Barnovi. Amazing hotel , highly recommended ? Very cozy rooms, welcoming staff ( staff speaks Russian). Especially would like to thank manager Mr. Alex , he’s always there for assistance! His recommendations always top-notch! Location is very convenient, near Rustaveli avenue. Definitely will come back again!

A very pleasant stay with a comfortable atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff

Comfort: The cold coming from the huge windows, which we tried to compensate turning on the AC, made the air uncomfortably dry. Cleanliness: First night we spent in a room smelling moldy, and couldn't change it, since there were no vacant rooms they said, next day we changed the room. Still the second room we had was 10/10 clean. Accessibility: Location as the hotel mentioned itself "is on Barnovi Street, which a steep slope. Therefore, it is not recommended for elderly individuals or those with heart, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions".

The location is amazing!! Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a hotel in Old Town. The bedroom and bathroom was great and clean. Friendly staff, felt very welcomed and comfortable. Amazing view from the porch.

The room was comfortable with everything I need, the Wifi was fast, and the balcony with the city view was beautiful. The hotel location is perfect, I could walk to the Christmas market and festival, and National Museum. Also many supermarkets are close. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and french toast. I only stayed for two nights, unfortunately I couldn't visit all the places around the hotel. The hotel is located on a slope, which might be an issue for some, but I didn't have any issue getting into the hotel.

A minor point: the dining area is a little small and cramped, and the breakfast options were quite limited and entirely cold. It would have been nice to have some warm choices, especially on a cold winter's day. Additionally, 'specialty coffees' like cappuccinos are not included in the breakfast price and require an extra charge.

Next time I would check and pick a room with view to the city which we can see from the buffet and was truly nice.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city centre and very convenient. Plus, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The biggest issue here is the lack of sound insulation. The walls are paper-thin; I could hear conversations in the adjacent room, as well as traffic and noise from a nearby school during the day. If you want a quiet night's sleep, it is impossible here due to the external noise.
