The view from the balcony is unbeatable. This is the only real reason to stay here. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is also much better than most, but I don't understand why they offer generic (processed American style) toast bread, when Georgia has such wonderful Shota available every morning hot and fresh from the "Tone" bakeries. The smell from the bathroom is seriously just as bad as other reviewers mentioned here. I messaged the hotel in advance about it, but their only reply was "everything is OK". It was bearable for one night, but I would not be able to stay longer. I'm pretty sure the problem is the sink doesn't have the 360-degree sewer trap to prevent the sewer gas from coming up through the drain. Resolving that should be a simple Plumbing 101 fix. Also, driving up the hill to park the car was extremely difficult due to congestion in that area. We only needed to park once, fortunately.

The hotel has a nice style and historical appeal. The location is amazing since it is bit high just below the fortress so you have a super view of the city. Breakfast and service are very good. The staff is friendly Sometimes you feel that they could more to maintain the hotel and facilities better. Some details are not fully taken care of, for example the terrace that is abandoned in the middle of the summer

The room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping was frequent and thorough, which we really appreciated. The breakfasts were excellent, a great way to start the day. The view from the window was absolutely stunning, easily one of the highlights of the stay. Despite the uphill location, being so close to Narikala Fortress and the old town meant everything was within walking distance once you were up there. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience The location is quite specific. The hotel sits on a hill and getting there on foot is genuinely tiring, especially with luggage. A taxi or ride is strongly recommended for arrival. Worth knowing before you book.

A fantastic stay with stunning views of Tbilisi, excellent service, and a beautiful property. The breakfast spread and aesthetic restaurant were delightful, and the balcony view was a major highlight. Perfectly located within walking distance of top attractions like Mother of Georgia, Meidan Bazaar, Abanotubani, and Rike Park.

Excellent value The view from the balcony The toilet and seat mismatch (see photo) Flying insects in the bathroom

The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated right in the heart of Old Town, which made exploring the city on foot incredibly convenient. I especially liked the terrace, which offered a stunning panoramic view of the city, it was definitely a highlight of the stay. Also, having functional air conditioning and an included breakfast were thoughtful touches that added a lot of value to the experience. On the downside, the bathroom had a severe, sulfur-like odor reminiscent of rotten eggs, which became unbearable unless the window was kept constantly open. While not directly the hotel's fault, travelers should also be aware that the noise from the nearby restaurant and bar was quite loud, making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep.

Location was great, especially for first time visitors. It's on a steep hill but taxis reach it. Recommend the room with a balcony, because the views of the city are stunning. Great value of the hotel. Breakfast was good, with warm options rotating every day we were there. Friendly service. Room cleaned every day. Little dated, could use some renovations.

It was so amazing view. Everything was perfect and near to everything.

Great location, close to the Old Tbilisi and various landmarks on foot, also nice connection to other landmark parts of the city. Hotel is on the hill with all rooms, common hotel terrace and breakfast area having great panoramic overview of the city. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Fair space to store clothes. Breakfast is fairly ok, not huge selection, but fine. Hotel lobby is basically a museum, fun part. Complementary water nice touch. Wi-fi solid. Despite having good time at the accomodation, obviously heating of the room is not the best at some points if it is very cold outside, because of AC heating system. Below the toilet seat, toilet had yellow stains, not a pleasant sight it needs to be taken care of. Toilet seat was not proportional to the toilet and it was half broken. Sometimes there were smells in the bathroom coming from the drainage. In the evening and some other time there was insuffiicient hot water for shower. Hotel is on the hill, so steep climb for 50 meters could be trouble for some, especially if it is snowy icy it could be a challenge to get to the hotel.

Room were very clean, Exceptional. Breakfast was great value. Staff was very accommodating and helpful Location - Climbing the street was little bit exercise. Bathroom smelled a bit. It was cold ( as heater was not working)

The best part was the views, food, balcony, and amenities of the hotel Quite a hard walk up but its good workout

On the other hand, the hotel is located on the hillside so it was quite challenging to walk up to the hotel by foot, and not every taxi agreed to drive directly to the hotel entrance. We had to go down the hill with our suitcases to get the taxi. But I would say the fabulous view was worth it!
