We felt warmth in Mariam’s hospitality. It was a very safe and comfortable stay which helped us a lot. The location is excellent, close to any attractions in Tbilisi. The breakfast was great! The bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Very nice property located in the central part of Old Tbilisi, yet in a quiet street, so no car noises or people yelling. All the major attractions are within walking distance. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was very fast. The breakfast was excellent, complemented by delicious pastries freshly baked by the owner, whose hospitality was truly exceptional.

Mariam R was my saving grace in Tbilisi. Because the 2 other places I stayed in did not measure up for me I was worried about Mariam R so I only booked one night to correct the mistake I made with the other 2 places. But my fears were quickly put rest at Mariam R. I booked 3 more nights to finish my trip there. All the glowing reviews I read were soooo true! Mariam was so very kind and helpful. She went way beyond and above to make sure that I had anything that I could need. She even wouldn’t take no for an answer and got up in the middle of the night just to call me a taxi to the airport. I cannot say enough about how well I was treated by Mariam which made the end of my stay in Georgia truly a memorable one! There is no better place to stay for a feeling of being at home than Mariam R in Tbilisi.

Breakfast was so-so. Internet signal is really weak in some rooms.

The host is very friendly and went out her way to meet us at an unusal time to check in and out. She made you feel like home, more than just a hotel. The location in the old town is perfect and you can explore Tbilisi day and night at ease. We rebooked another stay with her again when we return to Tbilisi again!

A fantastically located guest house in the heart of Old Town Tbilisi, with a wonderful host Marine who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay went smoothly. After venturing out to other parts of Georgia, I always returned to this accommodation and I can say from the three rooms that I stayed in that I was content. It was delightful to stay and the helpful innkeeper, Marina, made my stay more enjoyable.

I stayed at Mariam R hotel, and it was beautiful. Staff is always very nice, breakfast very good and rooms clean and modern. The owner of the hotel was incredibly welcoming, really kind person and willing to attend any request.

Mariam R is great small hotel in close approximate to main sights in Tbilisi. Rooms are clean and simple so it’s good for the main purpose of the hotel sleeping. The staff was great they were a tentative and looked after me. They served breakfast it was served from 9 to 11 and was ready waiting for you on the table. Do tell them if you have early morning they will accommodate you and serve you breakfast earlier as well if they know in advance about it. The street where the hotel is located is bit of an back alley type so not the nicest to walk when it’s dark I suggest walking via Kote Afkhazi street and turning Khachtur Aboviani street from there and first right from there the hotel is right there. Kote Afkhazi street is full of shops, restaurants and other hotels so nicer to walk.

Breakfast had an amazing chicken soup, toast, an egg and a local pancake. This was a good experience, but if you want a breakfast with options and continental food then this is not your place. The location is excellent in the old town with many things on the street to see right away. The only unfortunate thing was the smell of the sewer inside the room coming from the toilet.
