Location (except for noise). Facilities. Cleanliness. Helpful staff. A bit noisy during the night, due to all the open establishments in the vicinity of the hotel.

The door of the bathroom was not in the right place. It was blocking the way to the toilet. There was no where to hang our towels also.

The Berlage is much more than a hotel - it’s a living museum dedicated to the renowned Dutch architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage. The interiors have been beautifully preserved, allowing guests to experience the character and atmosphere of the original epoch. What made my stay truly exceptional was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. They warmly welcomed me, took the time to share the fascinating history of the building, gave me a guided tour of the hotel, and even showed me the rooftop, where I enjoyed spectacular views over The Hague. To make my stay even more memorable, I received a complimentary room upgrade with a beautiful view of the cathedral. The hotel also offers thoughtful complimentary touches, including excellent coffee and delicious pastries.

I stayed here for two weeks. The hotel is very beautiful, the staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating for any of my requests. I loved the central location, it was easy to get to everywhere I needed to go. As I was there for two weeks, it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, so that I could store leftovers or cheaper sandwiches from the grocery store. When I got hungry after the grocery store closed, I had to go to a restaurant. I’m used to having this in most hotels that I’ve stayed at. However, this was not a huge problem as the staff were willing to store some leftovers a couple times in their fridge which was nice!
