Hotel De Stern

Det enda som var lite tråkigt var vädret. Det regnade lite och blåste mycket. Annars var allt toppen!

Excellent location and staff was so accommodating. Truly enjoyed our experience. All was acceptable.

Great location: close to the beach, pier, food shopping and public transport. Clean comfortable little room with balcony. Very nice staff. My daughter was spontaneously allowed to feed the owners parrots. Holes in the bed sheet.

Location ! VERY close (3 minute walk?) to Scheveningen Beach with it's boardwalks and many cafes with a wonderful sea view. The host was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was in a different hotel about a block away (owned by same family) and was plenty in what was offered - bread, cheeses, yogurt, sliced meats, juice & coffees. Nothing to dislike

Door was hard to get unlocked. Handle wasn't secure, but host was going to fix that. Breakfast was decent, but I preferred more fresh fruit and oatmilk for non-dairy people.

The room for the three of us was very spacious, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. We appreciated the large range we used to play games. The breakfast was better than expected. The bathroom was a bit small and it was a lithe noisy with the tram at the front of the house.

Nothing, It’s not really a hotel, it’s an old house that’s been adapted. The beds are old with terrible mattresses, the bathroom is old and dirty, the room seemed to have either mold or a lot of dust, and we left there feeling sick

Beach right behind hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfast, equipment of the room was nice and TV had even English speaking channels. Not really fault of the hotel, but parking in the location is very expensive. Daily rate in nearby public parking is 37 EUR.

Good location to the beach, food & entertainment. There’s no place to park your car, just in the parking garage which is expensive.

It is a good location, close to the boulevard. A good looking clean hotel, nice room. Breakfast in the room, eating relaxed together with your company instead of a breakfast room overloaded with other guests, big plus! Tip! Try to book a parking space in a parking garage close to the hotel. Very friendly people! No negative comments; read carefully what you book! There did not seem to be a small fridge, but we did not ask for it either. Tip! Ask for it if you think you are missing something, the owners are willing to help you.

Spacious room, coffee maker, good shower and bed, breakfast in room. Excellent location close to Scheveningen promenade and beach with easy tram links to city centre and train station. The accommodation could be described as basic with a somewhat outdated feel & look. Sink located in room, not next to WC .

Location was the best thing about this property. The sink was in the middle of the room. I must have overlooked that in the photos. The shower was so small inside the toilet. It was not a proper bathroom. It was more shower / toilet. Breakfast could be better. Perhaps an omelette or fried egg could be added. And some fresh food like tomatoes and cucumbers. It was not to my taste. And also considering the fact that the room rate is quite high at a bank holiday weekend. For me it was a really low quality stay overall considering the money we paid.
