Location was terrific, very close to the train station; breakfast was tasty and the dining room comfortable; the bedroom (2 single beads) was spacious; the staff were friendly. Hotel decor was quite tired looking and the bedroom furnishings were a bit tatty. Also there seemed to be permanent fluff on the carpet in the corners. The hotel really could do with a refurbishment.

The location was amazing. Cozy, quiet, and close to the train station. Also surrounded by everything you could need store wise. Would stay here again! The only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom. It was old and musty, and also had what looked like small mold spots all over the ceiling.

The bed was sooo comfortable and the location is nice. The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast was great.

All the rooms are smoking rooms so it does smell a bit rank. The interiors really could do with a 21st century update, but totally fine.

Location Toilet is disgusting. Lots of dust everywhere especially under the bed.

Location was very good, very close to train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in need of a good freshened-up. It looks tired. On some floors, you could smell cigarettes. That was not a good impression.

One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in except maybe one in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Not expected for Japan. Floor was stained to the point I didn’t want to touch it, wall had scuff marks, mirror had crud on it. Found hair on the bed. Not good. Was also quite expensive for the low quality. Staff were very nice, location was great. For a place to sleep, it was fine, but not at that high price.

The staff here are so beautiful and so very helpful. Yes this hotel is a bit shabby but the location is exceptional and the room is clean and comfortable. Meguro is a terrific spot to stay in as it’s located so close Shibuya and Shinjuku. The station is only 1-2 minutes walk and the area has plenty of bars and restaurants without the chaos of the bigger locations. I can’t wait to visit again to see the Sakura blossoming along the canal just down the road. A little shabby but if that’s something you don’t mind then you’ll find this hotel will suit you. It’s really just a bed for the night but if you’re after a fancy foyer and beautiful artworks you’ll need to spend more money.

Staff was very helpful and efficient. Cleanliness. Cleaning was not thorough. I was experiencing daily sneezing attacks, i checked around source of my allergy- under my bed I checked and found dust accumulation to be VERY THICK! Requested front desk to have the room thoroughly vacuumed but no action. When I came back it was still the same. Had to wear a mask in the room the reat of my stay. Bought breakfast on first day, Need better breakfast fare- a lot of customers complained on quality of meat served. Did not have breakfast again in hotel
