The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very convenient for foods, train station, shopping, and attractions. However, the hotel is a bit old and you need to get a key from front desk to open your room. The hotel is a bit old, and the room is very small. Also, the electricity outlet is very limited in the room.

The location was convenient. There are convenient stores near, Keisei Ueno is just a few minutes walk, same with Okachimachi and Ueno stations. The bidet was not working.

The large hot tub in the basement is a huge plus for me. The window in my room doesnt let in much light.

Honestly there isn't much to complain about, the building itself looks a little old and the corridors a bit empty but the upsides are clearly worth it.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of eateries downstairs and nearby, and it’s also vey close to Ueno station. The staffs are nice. The hotel is old and the room is very small.

I liked the onsen in the basement, the location was great, and the staff was very friendly. I accidentally booked a smoking room so I did not enjoy having the smell of smoke in my room. It also took me a very long time to figure out how to close the window that was wide open upon arrival. My room was cold the whole time as there was no heating. I ordered the breakfast but there wasn’t much I wanted to eat on the tray. I don’t recommend. Lastly, the water sounds of the toilet were incredibly loud and I could not figure out how to turn it off or down.

This hotel is a bit of a blast from the past: A Japanese-style no frills business hotel close to a major train station. I loved having the tatami mat room, the smell of the mats is so nice. Bath is small, but it's nice to have a common bath. This is in a busy area, so there is some noise at night. Facilities are clearly dated. Keep expectations in check and don't expect luxury - this is a good, solid low cost hotel, and the facilities are in line with the low cost.
