Great location near the station. Easy to get to and in great location to enjoy the local food and shopping. The check in was quick and simple, the staff was excellent and easy to understand. I had no issues during my stay and check out was quick and easy as well.

Good value for money, clean room, helpful staff There's no ramp at the entrance and we had to carry our heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs. No big deal, but it was a negative surprise considering how accessible Japan is.

Very short distance to Ueno station which makes it convenient for both arriving from the airport as well as moving around Tokyo. Coin laundry service.

No covered walkway from station to hotel. We were caught in rain walking with our luggage. Steps from walkway to hotel door too steep and high. No ramp for luggage.

Breakfast. The room was tiny!!! Not at all convenient for two people. There wasn't enough room to open your luggage and still be able to move around the room. I know city accommodations can be small, but this room wasn't functional at all.

This hotel was surprisingly elegant for being so affordable and close to Ueno station. I had to stay overnight because I missed the last train to Nagano, and I'm glad I did. It was a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Location was okay, ill a walk from the station more than it appears because its miday between to widely spaced exits. Lots of bars, izakayas, shops and restaurants within only 2 or 3 blocks. the room was poorly laid out and small like most Tokyo hotels, but worst wa the the refrig cabinet and desk needed to be switched. The chair to use the desk blocked all the excess room beyonfd the bed, so what little extra floor space there was was blocked most of the time. Also the mixing valve for the shower was set wrong and did not get very hot.

Great location. Friendly staff. Small but comfortable rooms (typical for Japanese hotel). Just a little tight in the room and not much space when you have a large suitcase. We were there for multiple nights and would have been nice to have a shelf or drawer available

Location is close to the Ueno Station. Lots of places to eat in the area. Room is small but functional. Bed was ok. Mattress slopes to the middle. Pillows were hard.
