Ueno Urban Hotel Annex

Loved everything.

Close to train station and shopping mall. Property is quite new. A bit short in room amenities.

It’s near the main train station. Near the market. Just a suggestion, to reduce the price. The room is quite small.

Good location, good staff, easy to communication

Great location to get around in Tokyo area, and close to bullet train. Ueno park is 5 minutes walk. There are many choices of restaurants.

Hair all over the bed from another guest (not my hair colour). While recovering from a migraine in bed, staff entered the room without knocking or announcing themselves. They apologised and backed out but it was a very unpleasant experience.

The toilet space was tight and your knees practically hit the wall when you sit if you're moderately tall

Staff were super friendly when we arrived late and made it super easy for us to check in while being jet lagged. Throughout the stay they were helpful as well whenever I had any questions about Japan, or the culture, even recommendations of food to try. Bonus that it was a short walk to the train station!

Location which close to Ueno Station, IRIYA GATE. Two convenient stores are nearby the hotel. Economy Double Room is a bit small for two persons. Please kindly consider to book twin room instead of double room.

The hotel is really nice located just a few minutes walk from Ueno station and a 30 minute walk to Asakusa. Off the bat, I arrived a few minutes after midnight so I was afraid I would not be able to check in, however I was able to easily self check-in on the machine. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very near to JR Station. Keisei Line/Airport Train is about 10mins walk. Nice location ?? My Room is good for 1 person only. It’s clean and nice. The room cleaners were nice. The management should give them a cart or basket for the sheets cos they’re scattered in the small hallway when they’re cleaning the rooms.

The place was clean. And its very calm, this is really nice. For what you pay we expected more. The staff was ok, but not to kind. I could understand we noticed the front desk person at some point was in the nigjt shift and morning one. He was kind of not welcoming, the women, she was very kind. No breakfast at all. The toilets were pretty small. There was a smell always at the frontdesk not nice. Most of the things can be improve for sure. This is a place for maybe 1 men, that could stay short time. Not recommended for couples.

Right next Ueno Station, maybe 8-10 minute walk. The room was actually more spacious than the pictures looked. Great bathroom, and a good selection of T.V. channels as well. The clothes dryer wasn't very efficient. You may need to run it through 2 cycles depending on load size.

Is a nice hotel. Close to the train station and easy to get to restaurants, shopping etc. Beds could be more comfortable.
