Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Kayabacho

The room was larger than room size in similar hotels. The bathroom is the same floor level as the room, no need to step up or down to get in and out. The breakfast area may get very crowded, you may have a long line for the coffee machine, Or hard to find a vacant table. When it is busy, some food items do not get replenished fast enough. Food selection on the low side compared to other hotels, but you can find enough to eat.

Although quite cramped (to be expected in Tokyo), the facilities were clean and comfortable to stay in. Service was excellent and noise levels were great.

It's clean, there's a bed, bathroom and TV for the basics. A big window makes it tolerable. Friendly staff. Some bath amenities and vending at first floor. Tiny refrigerator. The room service girls just knock a few times, then barge in your room when you are naked. Crazy overpriced, you can get a small room like this for under $1k/month in Japan. Everything is supposed to be more evolved, efficient, better, and cheaper every day, yet this globalist moneymens endless growth economics fed by 3rd world mass immigration/exploitation/trafficking gives us the opposite. The bed and pillows are not very soft. 2 twin beds jammed into a room for one with no room to walk or even stretch. They use those damn key cards and only give you one, that turn off all power when gone, so you can't charge or run your devices or keep the room temperature. The room was too warm even at lowest setting. They don't give water bottles and there's no water machine. Tv system is all pay a fee except a few Japanese apps and yt. The laundry is small, takes like 2hrs for a tiny load and still doesn't dry your clothes. The bath soaps are the standard lab chemicals, marketed as fancy to the mindless. It has the super thin toilet paper you have to use even more of to do the job. The lobby is busy with foreigners, but there's not really anything nearby, very few taxis around there, and the train stations are not close. A small limited family mart across the street otherwise walk a ways. Not many food options nearby.

The room was nice and comfy. I love that staff cares about environment. We had an option to request cleaning or change of towels etc., but there was a nice instruction about eco-friendly service. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The temperature in the bath/shower room was cold, we had to open the door and put AC on so that it would get warmer, but the toilet itself was good, with heated seat so no problem there :)

Overall the place is very nice. Close to transportation and restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhoods. The room was clean. Staff are accommodating and very friendly. Great service. I will recommend this place to my friends and family! It needs more laundry facilities. Room was small but functional.

Very convenient location! There are several metro stations within walking distance, offering easy access to any area. A typical hotel in Japan. No frills, very small rooms. This may be a problem for some.

Good food options nearby, near train station, good complimentary amenities. Daily cleaning. Only 1 pillow was given, requested for a 2nd pillow for each guest to sleep more comfortably. The room was a bit small for 2 in the Annex Building

Good location, friendly staff and very comfortable

The location of the hotel was very close to the subway entry/exit so that was very convenient for me. The size of the room was not too bad as I can still open my large suitcase. The internet/wifi kept dropping out at the beginning of my stay. It got a little better towards the end of my stay but multiple devices cannot use the internet/wifi at the same time which is annoying and the speed was not that great either.
