Good location on the quieter side of the area. About an 8-10 minutes walk from either the JR or Metro stations.

The staff was amazing and very flexible with our reservation There is an Onsen on top floor People walk around in the hetel provided pajamas ? It was very basic and a bit outdated

we arrived early for check in and the lobby was crowded with luggage and people. it seemed rather chaotic. The room had no slippers, too Western. The dining experience for breakfast was noisy and chaotic.

The room was extremely spacious and they offered amenities at the front desk but sometimes they had it inaccessible. They were really nice about holding luggage during checkout time. Also the checkout process was easy. The A/C was nice and they offered pajamas to wear. The restroom wasn't up to par as other same star hotels. For example, the the bidet needed work around solution for it to work. Also, in the hotel room, they reused slippers. Although they said they sanitized them, they still smell. Location wise, it was about a 20 minute walk or 10 minute walk + 10 min train to the closest city like Ginza.

I liked how there was an easy self-checkout process where it was through kiosk. They had amenities in the lobby that you can pick up yourself if you needed like showercap, toothbrush, and comb. It was located in a quieter area with 7-11 and family mart nearby. They had a public onsen at the top of the hotel. The check-in process was a bit hectic with taking 15 minutes to check into 5 rooms. The location was a bit further out than other hotels where it took about 20 minutes walk to Ginza or 10 minute walk to JY line and 5 minutes on the JY line to go to Ginza. They reuse the sandals from the hotel and they said they sanitize it but was still a bit dirty and smelly. The bidet took a while to work.

The location is walkable to Tokyo Tower and two train stations (about 10 minutes each) but is quiet. The hotel has a great breakfast buffet - very good value! The rooms are spacious by Japan standards, and there is a public spa/bath (yokujo). There are not many small stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but at least one convenience store within a 1-minute walk. I like the more lively areas with a bit more stimulus than just large office buildings and hotels that must be circumnavigated. This is a location issue more than a hotel issue.

Nice comfortable beds (albeit the room was a bit small, which is normal for Japan). Location is quiet and near several convenience stores, also restaurants and not far from Tokyo tower. Nice onsen (although I only went once). Good breakfast although a bit pricey. Not always easy walking distance to transportation, train station (9-10 minutes at least to any station, which could be difficult with luggage). Laundry and dryer: very hard to find a free machine and then it didn’t dry the clothes properly, so had to go to the coin laundry nearby to dry them. Bidet wasn’t working properly, you had to try to get up and sit several times to get it to work and even then it didn’t always work. There was breakfast and a lunch buffet but for some reason no dinner (but there was no shortage of restaurants in the area).

Nice hotel close to station

The location of the hotel was good and it was in a nice quiet area. The hotel were able to store our luggage as we arrived before check-in which made life a lot easier.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome, which was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. The room’s air conditioning was centrally controlled with no option for cooling, and this limitation was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking—had I been aware of this, I would not have booked the property at all, as it is highly misleading. I was instructed to open the window as the only solution, which resulted in excessive noise from trains and traffic, making it nearly impossible to rest and went I went down my keys didn’t even working , and I was only able to sleep for approximately three hours due to the heat and noise. Because of these conditions, I was forced to check out early and relocate to another hotel at my own expense. Despite clearly explaining the situation to management, no compensation, refund, or any form of financial consideration was offered, which is extremely disappointing given the circumstances. While I acknowledge that the staff and supervisor were polite and apologetic, the lack of transparency and resolution is unacceptable, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously and reviewed accordingly.

The breakfast was amazing, such a variety to chose from and buffet style to fill you up. The washer/dryer combo left the clothes damp even if you paid extra to dry again.

Public bath is small.

There is a female staff named Matsui, and she made me feel very welcome with her smile and courtesy service. I cant say the same for others at the reception, however the cleaning staffs are all very friendly and nice too. Location is good, onsen is great, food is nice. Room is Spacious Unfortunately, there is no fitness room in this hotel. Due to it being a winter-spring season , it is controlled by central unit and hence couldn't turn on the cooling air condition, and the room is hot without it. opening the window doesnt help that much and is noisy whenever the train goes past, the hotel is beside fire station as well, so its kinda noisy everytime the siren went off or during the morning drill.

Nothing good for this property Centralized AC only provide hot air. We need to buy a handheld fan to blow the air from outside into the room

The staffers were extra miles in servicing their guest.

Great staff. Most helpful with local restaurants. Rooms were a bit humid.
