If you want affordable stays in Koto City, Japan? This is the place I would recommend. Far from busy places like Shinjuku and Shibuya but still Okay.

The staff were very friendly and the room was slightly bigger than most that we stayed at. Location was excellent, within 5 minute walking distance to transit. Although breakfast was not included there is a kombini downstairs across the street and on the same street was local to-go food spot that had lovely array of Japanese dishes that were fresh and ready to go. I wish they had a Japanese toilet

My only complaint is sometimes it was a bit humid in the room but it helped when the windows got opened up

The hotel is a classic stopover choice for many travelers looking to spend a night near the Sumida River area, which is conveniently connected to the Toei Oedo Line. The room is simple yet equipped with everything needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay. A nice highlight is the rooftop terrace, offering a beautiful view of the Tokyo Skytree.

What a beautiful sight after traveling for 24 hours straight. We only stayed for a night between arriving in Japan and moving to our first destination, but this could be a good base for a few days of exploring with its proximity to the subway (a little far from the normal sightseeing areas but still easy to access them). The beds were firm/supportive but comfortable, great for my bad back (if you like a soft bed, you might think these are too hard). Had a decent amount of room for a Tokyo hotel - got lucky and had a double bed and two twins for just two people so had room to spread out. Decent lounge/terrace area. Staff were friendly. Numerous dining options within a block. Cool view from the top floor. Excellent value for the price. Not the fanciest place, but if you are planning to spend the day out and about rather than hanging out at the hotel for long periods of time, that shouldn’t be an issue. Beds could be softer but worked for us.

I loved the view of the Skytree from the 10th floor, which is where our room was, and I loved how quiet it was! The staff was nice, I liked how they were able to clean/tidy the room up when we had the sign on our door and that there was a staff member who spoke English who was very friendly and helpful. I also liked how close it was to FamilyMart and other convenience stores as well as the train stations. The only problem was when I tried filling my water bottle on the 3rd floor, the water dispenser wasn’t working or was out of water. Everything else was excellent!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent. Very convenient. It has many restaurants and konbini stores next to the hotel and just a short walk from Morishita station (Toei Shinjuku Line) which made getting around Tokyo easily. The room was clean and comfortable with all basic amenities you need. It has a small balcony which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Kota who recommended some really cool places for me to visit around Tokyo. Their housekeeping deserve a credit too. He was friendly asking me if I need to get my room cleaned. Arigatou gozaimasu! Overall, a great stay with a convenient location, clean rooms and good service. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Tokyo if the price isn't increase too high in the future. Most of them said the the room is a bit small but for me is quite big and enough for me. Probably, I don't have large luggage. So I'm actually fine with the room size. Wifi was capped at 20~30mbps only, if you need a fast internet then this hotel isn't for you

The room had a balcony which we loved to view in the morning and late at night. The room was a decent size, most hotels in Japan tend to be small (compared to American standards) but the room was perfect for 2 people. There was plenty of restaurants to try within walking distance and the staff will offer suggestions if you ask as well! The train station is about a 3 minute walk so its easy to get anywhere. But if you want to get to shinjuku or anywhere a little more touristy it is about a 20-30 minute train ride. For us we didn’t mind being a bit further away so that was not a problem. I have no complaints!

Very close by Morishita St so easy to get around Tokyo from there. Mixed dormitory smelled a lil sweaty but otherwise it

The location is good. The staff is super helpful and welcoming. The room is very comfortable, they provide many amenities, and a minifridge. They kept our luggage so we could travel and pick up once we returned to Tokyo (and stayed there again).

About the only positive thing to say is that it was near a train station Don’t look like it was updated since the 70’s, not very clean. Also was accidentally double booked and only found out about it when checking in and hotel manager would not cancel one of the rooms. Not customer focused at all.

There was nothing to like about this hotel There was a mishap with booking and inadvertently ended with a double booking. Was not aware of it until I showed up to check in. Asked if they could cancel one of the reservations and they refused, so ended up paying for 2 rooms even though I only used one. Very poor customer service.

Our 2nd stay here and we couldn’t be happier. It’s home away from home. Our party of three had a 3-bed family room with private bathroom. Plenty of space for Tokyo. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. There was generous supply of toiletries. The kitchen in the common area is well equipped. Everything was sparkling clean. The staff is so kind, as were the other guests. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. There are many restaurants, cafes, bakeries and grocery stores around the hostel.

Location very good. Near to train station Toilets were old fashioned. Not the japanese one.
