Sakura Cross Hotel Uenoiriya Annex

The beds were super comfortable! Loved the duvet, pillows and bed sheets. Super soft too! The room was small, but for the 3 of us (adults and 2 teens), one suitcase and 3 small bags, it was super manageable if you are organized. I like the fact that the toilet is separate from the shower room, making the logistics easier as a family of 3! It was spotless! We had plenty of towels, a fridge and a small table on the tatami allowing us to eat our snacks from the 7/11 3 minutes away. The Iriya Station is 5 min walk away too making it super easy to go to Shibuya Ginza etc. And the Ramen place opposite the hotel is to die for and it closes at 11pm! Although we did not see any staff during our stay, I was impress by how efficient it was all organized as they were super responsive by email prior to check in. Would def go back if I come back to Tokyo! Not much to be honest … all was perfect !

Location was very good. 5mins walk to Iriya station (hibiya line). 3 stations away Akihabara. 5 mins walk to Yoshinoya restaurant, Family Mart, Grocery store and 7-11. Hotel entrance can be dangerous when there’s rain. Slippery and high steps. Need extra care.

Location was decent Room was tiny and no staff

I enjoyed the relative location to convenience stores like 7-11 and the pharmacy. Also, it was close to a laundromat. The staff was also very accommodating and helped with the luggage carry and trash pick up. The price was also very reasonable. It was a little small for our family of 5 with all our luggage. Also, there was an issue with the lights flashing on one of the nights. This caused us some concerns with the hotel safety and caused issues with our sleep. I called the hotel number but the person didn’t understand English. Luckily, the chat option was available and explained why it was flashing.

The room was very clean, spacious enough for a family of 5. Tha staff are very friendly.

Very nice location. They made check-in easy, but didn’t see anyone till the morning I was leaving. Pretty small but well laid out. Barely enough room for 4 people. Some repainting of the rooms would freshen them up. At least mine.

For the price of that its too high

Nice place in Asakusa. Little small for 3 guys and luggage but otherwise excellent space. Super clean and comfortable beds. Would recommend for anyone. Easy to get to and short walk from subway stations. Nothing.

The location was really good. The room gives a very Japan experience with the design. It was very clean, and staff took care of us very well. Very easy instructions even with self check in.

Amazing location, great service!!

This is the second year in a row we stay here. We came back because it is close to the train station, shopping, markets and great food. We enjoyed having dinner at Banninriki almost every night both times we were there.

The hotel is conveniently close to the metro station, which made getting around the city really easy. The beds were comfortable, great for winding down after a long day. This is the smallest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Tokyo. The stay was nice, but the space was very limited. There was nowhere to lay out our luggage, and the shower stall was quite small with no place to put a change of clothes. The hallway was also narrow, luckily we’re slim, so two people could just barely squeeze past each other.

Nothing everything was good

Clean room, separate bathroom and toilet. Close to supermarkets, Iriya train station and within walking distance to Ueno Park and Asakusa. Room is quite cramp for a family of 5. Would be nice to have a microwave oven.
